The seamstress, an older lycan named Madame Velora, was already at her worktable, sewing embellishments onto a velvet cloak when the group arrived. “I need to sit down,” Velora said dramatically as soon as she heard the request. “A dress for the new royal pup? By her brothers?” Her eyes sparkled with joy. “My heart is too full.” The boys laid out Phoenix’s sketch, a little messy but full of heart—tiny swirling designs, a golden ribbon tied in a bow at the back, and floral embroidery at the hem. It looked more like a magical gown than an infant’s dress. Velora studied it carefully. “You two want this to be real?”

He chuckled softly, his thumb brushing over the back of my hand in a soothing, almost absentminded gesture that sent little sparks of warmth racing up my arm. Standing just a few feet away, I spotted Lorien. He was dressed in a striking red tux that matched his scarlet eyes and hair perfectly. His long, fiery braid rested against his shoulder, tied at the end with a neat red bow. He looked absolutely breathtaking, like some ethereal, otherworldly prince.

This was harder than he thought. “He's not lying Cassie, we are werewolves,” Jim added. “Of course you're in on it, too.” Cassie chuckled sarcastically. But as her tears were drying, she noticed something strange, like freaky fucking strange. Right before her eyes, Jim's wounds started to heal, the claw marks on his cheeks and his busted lip looked as good as new. Even his eye was once again showing its beautiful blue orbs. “NO. FUCKING. My blood runs hot for the first time in months. “What about me?” Eliora stands up from the couch. She pushes her face right into the camera lens. “What do I get to wear?” Zaria smiles. Total beauty.” Leif steps up behind me. He leans into the camera frame and flashes his teeth. “Zaria, darling,” Leif says. His voice is smooth, like oil. “You have a massive festival and you do not invite your favourite award winning actor? I am hurt. I should be your chief ceremonial guardian.”

He searched my face before planting a kiss on my temple. I cleaned the tears off my face and chuckled. “I'm okay, Xander. It's just that Nicholas looks so ridiculous in that costume.” The frog costume he had was two sizes big and it was swallowing him whole although he didn't seem to mind. Andrea was having a princess and frog-themed party so she was in a light green dress. Her curly hair was styled into a bun with a custom-made diamond crown Xander purchased for her. Nicholas refused to wear normal clothes and insisted on being the frog.

I had suddenly turned into a terrifying furry creature, and I began to believe that Lorelei was a witch, or at the very least, I was being pranked and there was a hidden camera capturing my expression. Now the fur was gone from my skin, but I was still traumatized.

“I’m ready to die.” Lore approached Scarlet. Something about his demeanor had changed. He no longer seemed like the arrogant boy she’d met before. He seemed older, wiser. The black haired woman approached too. She was holding silver handcuffs. Scarlet let her place them around her wrists. Scarlet looked up, noting that she had an audience. Octal was watching on with a grave expression. Lore’s mom was ringing her hands and looking somewhat terrified as Lore removed a spear like weapon from a box and held it up in the air.

It turned out that the 100 dresses that Luzo had were very similar. Short, a lot of cleavage and thin fabrics. Luzo and Willa put me on a chair and forced me in all the dresses until I almost screamed. It was dark already and I just pointed to one and changed into that. Luzo changed into her new red, leather looking skin tight dress. It fell just under her ass and just above her breasts. "Sexy mama Sita." I said to her with a whistle. She curled her hair and put a lot of makeup on and looked absolutely filled with glee.

It takes Darius a little while to get out of my hold and as soon as he does; I get to my feet and make my way over to one of the many clothes' stashes I know that are scattered around the forest. I find a stash and pull out one of the oversized shirts. I pull it on; grab a smaller one and then make my way back over to where Darius is playing. I sit on one of the rocks that border the lake and watch as he chases a butterfly, changing from panther to wolf to Lycan and then back to panther. “Darius.” I call out to him and he stops looks over at me and then runs disappearing into the long grass, Lorelei steps up a little and enhances our hearing and with her wave of heat warning I move and catch

“Alright, what’s everyone going as? Oh oh oh we should be the Suicide Squad! Luna could be Katana and then Lexi and I could be Enchantress and June and then Axle and Six could be Joker and Harley and then you 5 can fight it out for Rick Flag, Deadshot, Boomerang, El Diablo and Killer Croc!” Everyone nods and the guys start calling their characters.
