I wagged my finger at their faces, taunting them. “I want the both of you to see this,” I said looking at the two brothers. The Salazar brothers are known on the black market for having ruthless hearts. I'm just not sure if they could still stay indifferent when they see the people they care for slowly die in an excruciating death. I flashed them a smile as I walk around the table and spotted the pliers on the toolbox. Perfect. “Antonio, how much do you love your nails?” He opened his mouth then close it, then open them again.

“I can’t wait to see it! We should totally have an art show one day, just the two of us.” As they entered the history classroom, a mix of students filled the room, including Ethan and Liam, who were seated at the back. Ethan, a fellow werewolf, had a laid-back demeanor that contrasted with Liam’s more brooding presence. The boys had quickly become part of their circle, drawn in by Maya’s magnetic charm and Charlie’s quiet strength.

However, each time, he just raises a thick gray eyebrow at them with a blank and unamused expression on his tan wrinkled face. That is, until Corrine runs over, and just as Cody spins around to face the young woman, she shoves him right into the fire. Cody screams, as he falls, ass first, right onto the flames. His green eyes momentarily lit with fear. Corrine just flicks her long dark hair with a bronze hand and prances off with a grin on her face. David, Tony and Alazaer burst into fits of laughter. The Omegas, still laughing, help Cody out of the fire, who yanks off his brown jacket and olive colored beanie, aggressively throwing them into the dirt. When he’s standing again, Alazaer claps

Still seated on the floor I turned to look at her. Her face first then her body. She was told that I was Roman's trusted right hand and I think that had made her feel more comfortable so she kicked off her shoes and stretched out on the couch waiting for food or Roman, whichever would come first. "Hey Valiant, I'm Reece Shields again. That's Angelo Garcia," I nodded to the guy who had the knot and spoke first. "That's Todd Jennings in the other chair." She waved and smiled at them both. Todd's face showed signs of distress. He was blushing hard.

Everyone leaned out of their seats a bit towards me, but I waved them off while clearing my throat. I know I just heard him wrong- Giovanni fucking Lombardi. As in Zane's pure enemy. Leader of the Sicilian mafia. What in the actual fuc— "I would ask if you need water but it kinda almost just killed you so-... are you okay?" Bubbles rambled and I just nodded while finally clearing up my throat. "You've gotta be shitting me. Giovanni fucking Lombardi." I scoffed while laughing in pure disbelief. They all looked at me as if I were crazy... which I am so I didn't take any offense.

And unfortunately for her, she was already beginning to lose against them. Watching him sulk so seriously over something so small made her heart melt despite herself.

I was just hoping I wouldn’t lose. By the time I returned to Eden, the city was drowning in neon lights and restless shadows. The club was as loud as ever—music thumping, people laughing, deals being made in dark corners. But I barely noticed any of it. I walked straight to Damien’s office. He was waiting. His cold eyes flickered over me as I entered. “Well?” I pulled out my phone and handed it to him. He swiped to the photo. A slow smirk curled his lips.

Sierra sobbed softly while the crowd looked over, whispering among themselves. A blinding spotlight shone down on Willow, making her feel like a criminal on trial. “Willow, apologize!” Roy was on the verge of blowing up. “Uh, what is going on?” Adrian, the birthday boy, rushed over to pull Roy away. “Willow has no reason to put herself in danger. I mean, just look at the state she’s in.” Adrian was one of the few good ones among Roy’s friends who did not speak ill of Willow.
