Almost immediately an ambulance drove into the school premises and Sharlynn came out of the car, watching as three bodies were brought of the school, one of which was Kayla. She looked at Dean and Ricky-Shawn, expecting them to rush to Kayla's body but was shocked to find them just looking at each other knowingly. " Guys that's Kayla!" She shrieked and they both suddenly noticed that she wasn't in the car. " Get in the car Sharlynn it isn't safe!" Dean yelled as he carried her in and Ricky-Shawn drove off. They had to protect her at all cost because there's a new vampire in town, and it definitely wasn't the Saunders. They may be ruthless when they feed but they were never this clumsy.

I scrubbed at a baking tray with renewed vigour, as though I could clean away the impulsive thoughts I was having. I needed a distraction. While Harper finished off cooking dinner – amid frequent swear words and mild burns from where he kept forgetting to use oven gloves – I focused on the list of traits we knew all vampires shared. With a gulp, I step closer to Clarissa and drop my voice an octave. “Baby, you would pick Everest over me?” She turns away, and I wish she could just stay turned, but I grudgingly take her face and turn her toward me. “Clary, come on. Seeing my tearful face, he pulled me into a hug while shooting Claire a puzzled face. "The clone is dead" I informed him as we break apart from the hug, allowing Claire to hug her mate. Hunter appears unfazed by the news as he hugs a crying Claire tighter, at the end of the day it doesn't matter who is stronger, after all, we are all species that feel pain. When they finally pulled away, Hunter turned around to address the Shifters.

Clary pov I wish I could forget that day but it’s etched into the deepest darkest parts of my mind and soul. We were 17 and sent on a training mission with the academy to aid and scout with the bloodmoon pack after they had multiple sighting of rogues. About 30 of us cadets were sent in the school bus to the pack with supplies and aid relief. By the time we made the 5 hour trip to the pack over half of the pack had been slaughtered by the rogues and the other half of the pack in hiding. It was a gruesome scene to enter into on a bus we were just pups our selves. there were body’s, limbs children, woman strewn across the pack in a bloody mess our aid mission then turned into a clean up rescue

She had always been quiet and shy, but this was not the case at the moment. “All I wanted was to be happy,” Clary continued as she dropped to her knees on the floor. “But look at my life, I’m now pregnant with the child of a married man and have broke a marriage that was sealed by the Moon goddess. And on top of that, I’m being freaking hunted by almost everyone!” “Hunted?” Ace asked. He hate seeing her the way she was. He could literally feel what she was feeling. He could taste her hurt and her great sadness. It was overwhelming, and he felt for her. “What do you mean that you’re being hunted.”
