The shell reminded me of our little adventure on the beach yesterday. “Sweetie that’s it! Look around again!” Koa jumped at the realization and took just enough control to force me to look around the room again. The people who had nodded at us all had a small seashell in some fashion. Some had them as hair pieces, some as bracelets, and some as necklaces. “The shells…” I paused for a moment to collect my thoughts. “I told you I would find a way to show you who you could trust.” Jax winked at me. “We can go over the details later, but right now I need you to stop staring at everyone and pick your jaw up off the floor please.” He gave a slight chuckle.

Great read! Especially for a new author. Interesting story that kept me engaged. Loved the slow introduction of characters that allowed me to get to know each one. However, if you are looking for steamy bedroom scenes, you will find this lacking.

Cursed to be my Mate

Cursed to be my Mate

Demon was hard to deal with, and when both human and wolf had tempers, it was pretty chaotic. The carriage came to a stop after descending a hill towards the harbour. Rhys stepped out and scanned his surroundings. The picturesque small cove with its ocean vistas was indeed charming, but the town itself resembled the one where Amira and the others resided. Everything appeared weathered; the buildings had wooden structures, though they were not as dilapidated as the ones those children inhabited. Amidst this backdrop, there stood a bustling inn, and along the shore, one could spot moored ships. Pirate ships, to be precise.

Excellent plot! Surprisingly, the FL is the one not really likable, but that's super intriguing and keeps you hooked. ML is really funny in FL's body! No excessive violence and verbal abuse. It's one of the best books on this platform. Wish I could give it more stars!

TIME TO FALL IN LOVE

TIME TO FALL IN LOVE

"That’s the problem, Jinyan. You’d do it again. And as long as you're willing to destroy me to save me, we can never be 'us' again." As the transporter began to decelerate, the promenade windows cleared. Below them lay a cluster of islands shrouded in a perpetual, golden sunset. In the center of the largest island was a sprawling mansion of white marble and brass, shaped like a giant clock. The Aeolian Isles. But as they descended, Panni noticed something that made her heart stop. Lining the docks of the New World were hundreds of people. They weren't servants or guards. They were Panni Saints and Lu-Sheng Sharks. Pairs of them, standing in perfect, rhythmic formation. They all had the same

KITTY

KITTY

“Tongo said it was very beautiful on the reefs behind the cape. The fish are multi-colored. - Yeah. And full of sharks,” she snorts and reaches for a tube of cream. A shark dressed as a clown with the face of Darling Charlie... A nightmare. She barely has time to pull the phone out from under the absurdly large paw of the dog, which has come to her call and is now climbing to cuddle. Blue light.

The Werewolves Dark Secrets

The Werewolves Dark Secrets

Then there are some fish with gray-blue-green heads and bright silver-colored bodies, they flash like a light when they turn from side to side, as the light reflects off them. Moonlight moves and I will dive to the bottom, when I reach the bottom I will pick up a pair of Conch Shells. Returning to the top Moonlight is delighted when she sees what I have in my hands, as I give her a conch shell. "Oh Magnus it's beautiful ... the cream, pink, light brown, and bright colors in these shells are amazing!" I tell her that we should put the shells in the sun, next to the house, because the heat from the sun will make little creatures that live in the shells, come out ... “Ewww she answered and lowe

The Rise Of The White Luna

The Rise Of The White Luna

I shouted into the glare, I had spotted up to five tiny ships coming towards us with immense speed. They all had black flags on them, designed with human skull as a warning. “Pirates, oh silly human pirates messing around.” “Oh how very great,” Tasha muttered to herself, she threw her orange peels into the water. “Just as I was about to get comfortable and have a good nap.”

The CEO’s Regret: My Ex-Wife is the Hidden Tycoon

The CEO’s Regret: My Ex-Wife is the Hidden Tycoon

He looked at the leather book, where the hole in the third page was still smoking, its edges blackened by the fire of our defense. And through the hole in the paper, we could see something that shouldn't have been there—something that didn't belong to the valley or the Spire. A tiny, perfect view of a third horizon, where a blue ship with wooden stars for sails was currently dropping anchor in a harbor made of pure, unwritten black ink.

The Two Of Us

The Two Of Us

The ship docked yet again. The sun blazed overhead as Alice, Daniel, Kimberly, and a handful of other passengers from the ship wandered through the bustling streets of the coastal town. The port was alive with energy—street vendors hawked their wares, the air thick with the scent of sizzling food, and the chatter of locals and tourists mingled into a lively symphony. For a moment, Alice allowed herself to forget the tensions aboard the ship, the tangled emotions surrounding Kelvin and Daniel, and simply breathed in the freedom of the foreign town.

THE LOST TIDE KING

THE LOST TIDE KING

Grandmother remained above with Renji and Daigo, holding the water apart with the Tide Crown. The staircase narrowed as we went deeper. The sounds of the armies faded. Only our footsteps remained. At the bottom stood a door made from black shells. No lock. No handle. A sentence had been carved across it. THE SEA REMEMBERS THOSE THE CROWN FORGETS. Raiken placed his hand against the shells. Nothing moved. Kiyomi tried. Still nothing. The living tide stirred inside me. I stepped forward. Raiken blocked me with his shoulder. “We do not know what is behind it.”

The Cold Compromise

The Cold Compromise

Chapter 101: Giuseppe’s Shadow The first shell burst fifty yards astern of the Ithaca, a jagged column of seawater spiralling into the night sky before collapsing back onto the deck with a metallic slap. The impact was purely psychological, a warning more than a weapon, but the concussive shock rattled the reinforced windows and set every onboard alarm screaming. Ethan’s grip tightened on the bulkhead as he shouted over the din. “Giuseppe is not messing around! That was a naval-grade shell. Where did he even get a boat with that kind of firepower?”
