Irene had been going through different books about witches to know if she could find out what is wrong with Irene or how to help her but none of the books Steven had brought to her was of help. When they walked into the cottage, Steven carried the bucket of water into the room for her and she followed silently, however, Steven had stopped frozen when he opened the door and wondering what could have happened, Aliyah rushed to see. She carried the sharp elegance of a wolf accustomed to total obedience, her dark leather garments were tailored from rare shadow-beast hides, and her cold, calculated features revealed an executioner’s mind. I could instantly detect the venom she was masking behind her polished, aristocratic smile. Irene unclips the helmet, the breeze blowing her hair. “Irene? What are you doing here, dammit. I told you to stay hidden.” “I am not leaving you here to die, dummy.” She says, coming to stand in front of Gia and the darkness. “Leave him alone, Dom.” He steps forward. “Are you going to kill me with your petty powers?
