Hero said sadly. "You, you meant, umm, you haven't had umm sex with other since I left?" surprised Shasha. "Yes, that's why I got excited and angry when I saw you. I can't hold myself any longer," Hero blurted out honestly. "Oh," Shasha amused reply. "Are you laughing at me?" Hero said, staring at Shasha who was secretly delighted in her heart. "NO, No. I'm just surprised as I thought you were already cured," she exclaimed.

Her heart kicked, not in fear but in readiness. Heather’s hand slid to Baylee’s hip, a silent stay back, while her other hand slipped her knife free. They stepped out into the clearing. And then they both just… stopped. The scar was still there. It wasn’t large — not anymore. It wasn’t the gaping wound it had been the day Jade ripped through. It was a slice now, a pale, faintly luminous seam in the air a few feet off the ground, like the world had been split and then healed with a stitch that didn’t quite match.

I felt her slipping farther from my reality. Two more knives materialized out of thin air and cut me good. My surrounding men had all fled or been hit with knives. The man before me was formidable he wouldn't allow stray bullets to ring out and cause panick or pin us to a chaotic scene. "Shields please." I started to panick as the blood began slipping from my body. I felt my heartbeat slow to a loud thump as my head went light and the dizziness claimed my perception. I pleaded, "You and I were best friends Reece, we were brothers. How'd you let a woman come between us? She was mine first, I got her first."

Shyam felt an impending sense of doom. He shielded the True-Sun Fist without much thought, but the radiant sword light soon descended and struck the bronze shield before him with a colossal force. At that moment, Shyam could only watch in horror as cracks formed all over the shield. The shockwave then caused the shield to shatter, and the fragments shot out in all directions. Shyam's pupils contracted as he witnessed the scene and felt a bad feeling sinking in. The protective barrier that he cast just moments ago succumbed to the residual power of the sword light. The barrier was torn apart and landed right into his chest.
