"Don't worry, you know how badass I am." Perci and Cali left early to start their busy schedule. Despite Perci's heavy load in the office, he still drove Cali to her set. Unfortunately, they are stuck in a traffic jam. He checked his phone and they are still one hour ahead. He glanced at Cali because she was silent. He unconsciously smiled while looking at her. She was busy staring at the husky in the pet shop from a distance. “Do you like dogs?” he asked. “Yeah. I have had a dog before. He died because we cannot afford to cure his Parvo.”

Anyway, he kept saying that there are horrible creatures that lurk in the darkness here… While growing up he told me the story of the time when he was ten years old, his dog ran out of his family home—this townhome, the home I’m just about my home until my dad gets out of jail and the social worker says I can go back. He goes on and says that he watched his dog die that night being eaten alive by a wolf-like humanoid that he himself barely made it back home to safety. Then there were these stories of the locals being blood-sucking vampires and all the BS surrounding that subject. Oh and the witches of the forest and the great lake—supposedly they lure pregnant women to their deaths and drown

I had to listen to them or else that would be rude. “Yes. Let me tell you a story about my dog. His name is Dody. We found him on a rainy night when my brother Luciano and I were coming home back. I saw him and brother Luciano rescued him and we went to the hospital and saved his life. Since then, Dody has been with me. He is my best friend,” Adelina narrated and I praised his kindness.

Pest number 10 really. "Are you gonna stare at me all day?" As if she's staring at it? Ship muks. She stared at him and followed the man. It does not mean that she is now Mrs. McCluskey, that she would be kind of x10, that's not in her dictionary. She needs it, she needs it too. To make the story short, they both needed themselves together. "I have 2 dogs in this house, a husky and a golden retriever. I tell you this to give you warning, never go near the back door. My doggies will eat you alive."

The dog's big furs swam in the air and indeed it was the giant dog. Jeevika wasn't a fan of dogs especially not of such giant and furious dogs. The way the dog barked and flashed his long fangs at her while running to her, she heard her heart pounding like a rollercoaster out of horror. Her whole life was flashed before her eyes before she decided to run away from him. " Ahh! " Jeevika screamed like a mad woman as she struggled to walk out of the heavy snow. However, the dog seemed to be experienced therefore, he didn't get stuck in the snow like Jeevika. She had seen the dogs in the backyard of the house sometimes but never was introduced to them, that's why she was still a stranger to them

It was a sight that never failed to take my breath away. As we settled down by the fire, the pups nestled close to me, their eyes wide with anticipation. "Tell us a story, Selene! Please?" they pleaded, their voices blending in a chorus of excitement. I couldn't resist their eager pleading, and soon I found myself weaving a tale of adventure and heroism, my voice rising and falling with every twist and turn. The pups were entranced, their imaginations soaring as they listened to my every word.

The forest drank the light. June pushed through veils of thorn and creeper, her booted feet sinking into the soft, rotting loam. The air was thick and cold, carrying the scent of wet earth and something else, something ancient and metallic. The stories called this place the Cursed Wood, a place where hunters did not return. June clutched the haft of her throwing axe, her knuckles white. She was not here for game. She was here for the beast, the shadow that was said to tear livestock and men apart with equal indifference.

It was an unexpected and endearing sight, a stark contrast to the hostility that had filled the room moments earlier. Harper's shock was palpable. She stood frozen, her earlier arrogance momentarily eclipsed by her surprise. "Eewww! Ugly dogs! Shoo! Go away from me!" she exclaimed, attempting to shoo the dogs away with her dainty gestures. However, the puppies, displaying a surprising degree of intelligence, seemed to have sensed the hostility and disdain emanating from Harper. With a deliberate and almost defiant gesture, they proceeded to leave their mark, defiantly peeing and defecating in the path Harper intended to take. She tells me enthusiastically, her little body bouncing around in my grasp. My widened eyes meet Derrick’s gaze over Hayden’s head, a question in their depths. As if sensing where my thoughts are headed, Derrick speaks before I can ask. “The pack breeds dogs in a large facility back behind the packhouse.” He smiles down at Hayden before asking, “Which one was your favorite?” A serious expression appears on Hayden’s angelic face as she thinks over Derrick’s question. “ I liked the wolf the best.” She says after a moment of thought, her eyes lighting up at the reminder of her favorite dog.

The air around smelled faintly of blood. Qin Haodong walked around and realized that Bao Ziping did keep lots of fierce dogs here, including Tosa, Dogo, Caucasus, Rottweiler, and Bull Terrier. Those dogs might have been fierce before, but all of them were lying on the ground now, wounded and gasping. "Dr. Qin, thank you!" Bai Ziping said. Qin Haodong did not say anything. Instead, he walked to a large Caucasian dog. Its hair was dripping with blood, one of its legs had been completely broken, and dozens of tiny wounds covered its body.
