Short Stories Plot Twist Novels & Stories

Emma’s POV The long-awaited day was finally here. Today, we hold the funeral for Mr. Henderson, and let’s just say that tension so far has been high. While Liam and I got ready for the day at home, it was so clear that he was tensed up, even though he didn’t say anything about it. We barely spoke, his frame was rigid, and he just kept on doing things wrongly because his mind was obviously focused on somewhere else. For instance, he wanted to make coffee and forgot to use a coffee filter. When he eventually got that right, he proceeded to pull out a glass cup from the cupboard and pour the coffee into it, talking about how both cups were next to each other and he ‘accidentally’ picked the wro

Damn this was going to be a huge plot twist. The readers would go crazy when they find out the two ladies are actually the same person. Olivia was itchy fingers and itchy fingers was Olivia. I decided to post on the GoodNovel writers and readers group. Me: Hi, every of my readers out there needs to read the chapter I am going to update to night, fasten your belts for the bumpy rides. There is a huge and unbelievable twist in this chapter, I didn't see it coming. It just happened few minutes ago and it is still a shock to me.

It was a twist that caught us off guard, upending our carefully constructed world once again. One evening, as Alexander and I enjoyed a quiet dinner in the comfort of our home, a news alert flashed across the television screen. The headline sent shockwaves through our beings, leaving us stunned and speechless. The twist that awaited us was unexpected and momentous—a revelation that would forever alter the course of our lives. The news anchor's voice crackled with excitement as they announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news! A long-lost document has been discovered, shedding light on a decades-old secret that has remained hidden until now."

His behavior deceived me into thinking he had let go of the past; that he had realized it was inappropriate for him to overly grieve the death of an ex-girlfriend. On my mom's birthday, Joshua offered to cook, but he poisoned all the food he made. He tied me to a chair and stabbed me over and over with a surgery scalpel. My blood splattered all across the floor as I pleaded with him to spare the lives of my family members. However, he had lost his mind. "Will Jackie come back if I spare their lives? Harper, you deserve to die! Why did you have to drink so much on that night? Did you see Jackie's car accident coming?"

Intense. Deep. Locked down tight. "If I'd told you, you would've been scared." A bitter smile touched his mouth. "Your best friend had just betrayed you. Everyone you knew disappeared overnight. If a guy you already hated suddenly showed up and said he wanted to help, would you have trusted him? "I'm sorry. This was the only way. You wouldn't suspect me. "So... are you happy now?" I let out a slow breath and closed my eyes. They suddenly stung.

I left a single comment under her post: “Well then, good luck finishing the rest of the story. Don’t let your readers down.” I knew I didn’t have much of my draft stockpile left so she was running out of stolen material. Ruby was too impatient. She was afraid that I would publish my manuscript before finishing it, so she rushed to release what she stole first, trying to get ahead of me. But the plot twists and foreshadowing I had carefully planted? She would never be able to pull them off. Exposing her was only a matter of time. * I arrived back at my rental apartment.

With every last bit of strength I had, I shoved him away, desperate to get Wendy to the hospital. But Owen had lost all control by then. His face twisted with fury as he attacked me from behind. In my final moments, I clutched Wendy's lifeless body close to mine. The warmth slowly drained from my blood, and darkness began to close in. I never could have imagined that I would be reborn, let alone find myself back on the very day of the banquet. A wave of hatred surged through me, causing my fingers to tremble. I locked eyes with Owen, my gaze cold and unyielding. To my shock, I watched him walk straight toward Poppy.

When she finally gripped the handle, its chill bit into her fingers, and in that instant, her past flooded back. She saw her younger self, tiny hands tugging this same handle open just enough to glimpse the face inside that room. She heard her own giggles, her small voice, that fragile little frame... then him. She saw him. Her fingers recoiled as if burned, releasing the handle as ragged breaths escaped her. Sweat gathered along her temples, but Mia pressed on. She pushed the door open, it wasn’t even locked anymore. Of course it wasn’t. What was the essence of secrecy now that the truth the Hawthornes had been hiding had finally slipped out, though not to the public?

he said, releasing me before walking away, leaving me standing there, stunned and gasping for air. The butterflies in my stomach weren't just fluttering—they were wreaking havoc. When I turned back, I was greeted by six pairs of suspicious, glaring eyes. "How could that possibly happen between two strangers?!" they demanded. "Well," I said, feigning innocence. "I'll leave you to figure that out while Siddi and I grab something to eat—with my winnings." Siddi grinned as I handed her a share, bribing her silence. "I can't believe how sneaky you've become," she teased as we slipped away.

He manages to escape from her manipulative family only to be killed by some stranger she met. Erin still had the energy to open her eyes and met Ajax’s gaze. Just.. Why?
