Since sleep wasn’t an option and I couldn’t stop thinking about my nightmare, I decided to take a shower to try to clear my mind. To begin with every time, I closed my eyes the dream would play again and again, but the longer I was in the shower the more the details seemed to fade, until I was able to focus my mind elsewhere again.
