Their master would tell them what they needed to know when he felt like it and not before. “Stand back,” the Necromancer commanded, pushing himself up to his feet. All three shuffled back a few steps, watching as their master spread his fleshy hands out above the tabletop and began chanting, calling the table’s magic to life. The anguished eyes floated slowly to the surface, each one glowing brighter with every passing second. The Necromancer continued his rhythmic chanting, now uttering incantations none of the others had ever heard before. A faint, dark purplish glow
