He narrows his eyes at her. "You don't need to know." She has a mischievous grin on her face. "I need to. I must." "Hey hey!" Steph taps him, calling his attention back to the game. "It's handsome boy's turn." Chris makes a mental note to continue this conversation later as he shifts his attention to the game. The guy spins the bottle and everyone watches in anticipation. Brooke crosses her fingers and begins a chant in her head. To her, it feels like it's taking forever until it finally stops.

When she opens her hand a small vile of glittery blue liquid sits in her palm. “What is that?” I ask, hesitant at taking the tiny vile from her. “Pure magic, from when the gods still walked amongst us, my favorite disciple.” I scowl at her and then at the vile, looking back up at her. “Drink this and your Shifter abilities will become tenfold. When you shift you will not lose your garments, when you shift back you will be as if you were before – fully clothed.” I take the vile from her hands, cautiously handling it as if it would burn me.

The Dragon seemed to have shaken himself and was already gliding through the grasslands, breathing fire down at the SHS guns pointed right at him. She shook her head. “I can’t. My mirror could be broken if I push her to picture him…” Slova poured a potion into a silver goblet. It was red colored fluid and so thick with horrible scent. Slova swigged it all. She wiped her mouth after drinking it and blenched twice. The princess looked at her with her arched eyebrows. “He’s so powerful. I am pretty sure he’s not coming from this earth…” Slova explained as she put the goblet back on the table.

A crimson flower that grew only in volcanic crevices. Said to be an all-antidote, capable of counteracting every poison in existence. And the final ingredient for my potion. Without hesitation, I tossed it into the cauldron. Then watched closely as the decoction turned a molten red, bubbling violently as if ready to overflow—yet it didn’t. Instead, it fizzed out in an instant, the liquid shrinking rapidly until only a thin layer remained at the bottom. Then it crumbled into black powder. Another failure.
