Silent Cry

3rd Person. It was silent. The physical distance between Gabbie and Kiel is not even a meter apart but the internal barrier felt like a kilometer long. No one is breaking the silence or even planning to at any moment. They both want to savor the relationship that is at the risk to change with the news that Gabbie is very willing to hide forever but about to spill.

Mummy, Please Marry Uncle Biker Daddy

Mummy, Please Marry Uncle Biker Daddy

Words blur for a second. I blink, trying to focus. “It’s just… " You read it again,” I ask. She frowns slightly. “I did.” “Then read it slower you might have missed something.” She nods, even though I can tell that didn’t help. She starts reading again anyway. The baby cries again from the other room. louder than before Lily pauses mid-sentence. I feel it. The tension. Her eyes flick toward the sound. Then back to me.

Seducing the Silent Alphas

Seducing the Silent Alphas

Anna's POV Derrick’s words hung in the suffocating darkness of the ruined chamber, and the absolute silence that followed was louder than the chanting inside my head. His bare fingers were still resting against my burning neck, and the raw, heavy wave of grounding energy flowing from his skin was the only thing keeping my mind from splintering into a million pieces. The relief was intoxicating, a sweet, dark poison that tempted my human heart, making my inner wolves stop their frantic pacing and lean greedily toward his touch.

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

They had taken some of the cost. Another time, they walked into an area of complete, deafening silence. The Hungry Silence. It pressed in on them, seeking to devour their thoughts. Lyra, terrified, began to cry, but no sound came out. It was Kael who acted. He didn't hum. He stomped his foot on the ground. Just once.

SILENT DESIRES

SILENT DESIRES

she panted. He rubbed his lips along her arch, not kissing so much as caressing. “You’re soft like silk.” He flicked his tongue out and licked. Her toes curled and air hissed out of her lungs on a shattered gasp. “There are over seven thousand nerve endings in your feet.” he said. “R-really?” she asked breathlessly and then cried out as he pressed between two of her toes and she felt the reaction in a totally different part of her body.

Her Silent Tears

Her Silent Tears

He closed his eyes, she proposed with tears in her eyes, he wasn't able to concentrate on what the Imam was saying because her innocent face was something he couldn't get rid of. My silence means I am tired of fighting and there is nothing left to fight for, I am tired of explaining my feelings to you but now I don't have the energy to explain them, right now I am on a self healing process and I am trying to forget everything that I ever wanted from you, I have always adapted to the changes in my life and even now I'm going to adjust and I'm not complaining, I am just trying to move on gracefully with all my dignity, I will definitely return your money, sorry and thanks for everything.

His To Claim: The Mafia's Possession

His To Claim: The Mafia's Possession

Three feet away from my reading spot is Lilly trying to read hers. It’s 3: a.m in the morning and I know the street already melts in the darkness of the night and the silence that walks in tow with it. So here we're studying ahead but neither of us is focused on what we have. I hear Lilly tapping her feet on the floor and it adds to the screeching noises in my head which I fight to overpower. Tap. Tap. Tap. Her feet hammer, the sound thrumming in my ears and my fingers forcefully curl into a fist. I grit my teeth hard to sail above the noise but she doesn’t stop.

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Sophia We walk in silence, the sounds of the forest enveloping us. The crunch of leaves beneath our feet, the distant call of an owl, the soft whisper of the wind through the trees—these are the only noises that fill the air between us. Yet, the silence isn’t empty. It’s thick, almost alive, vibrating with all the things left unsaid, all the emotions neither of us is willing to voice.

the alpha is supposed to be blind, it’s the whole premise of the book, yet the author constantly describes him as “seeing” people’s blood shot eyes, watching people walk away, looking at himself. it’s sloppy, bad writing. i don’t recommend the “sometimes not quite blind alpha”
Sirena Mares
Interesting characters. Interesting werewolf lore. I just hope the author never "cures" the blind alpha as he actually is mostly capable anyway. The FL goes through quite the character development, and that's putting it mildly. The quality of the narration and writing itself is publish-worthy.

She, His Enigma

She, His Enigma

Her eyes skimmed over the printed words. The quiet creak of her steps dissolved into a sudden cacophony of muffled sounds. She halted mid-stride, her heart quickening at the sharp contrast. A high-pitched cry, followed by a low, guttural grunt, spilled through the air. Her brows knitted, her lips pressing into a firm line as she tried to focus on the book in her hand. It didn’t help. The noise seemed to draw her in, forcing her legs to move.
