Silver Devils Novels & Stories

DANTE'S POV People call me the Devil of New York. They're not wrong. I've killed men for less than a dirty look. I've gutted rats who thought they could steal from me. I've fucked women who begged for mercy and made them beg for more pain instead. My empire runs on blood, loyalty, and fear. That's the only language this rotten world understands. And tonight, I reminded everyone of it. Crawford thought he could play me. Thought he could borrow money from my syndicate, promise returns, and then ghost like I'm some dumb fuck banker. No. You don't spit in my face and walk away.

Her eyes widened in bewilderment, this was the legendary golden card. There were only two of them in the world. The Sales attendant brushed her fingers around the card, sifting it. She felt this could be her last opportunity getting to see or even hold the card again. Looking at the sales attendant, Emery's heart piqued with curiosity, it seems that the Gold card was greater than the platinum and Black card she knew. Recalling who Darren was, she satisfied her curiosity with her own answers. “What a proud jerk!”Emery cursed, she felt like kicking his balls.

I ignored her and melted into the crowd. Beta Zane took the podium first. “Tonight we bury old blood!” he boomed. Cheers. Whistles. Gamma Harlan followed, voice cracking with emotion about “a stronger North.” More cheers. Then Gideon. My Gideon. He looked exhausted, eyes scanning the crowd for me. I shrank behind a pillar. And then he stepped up. Devon. Black suit, burgundy shirt open at the throat, the silver ink of his Silvercrest tattoo peeking out like a brand. The hall went dead quiet the second his boots hit the stage. He didn't need to raise his voice; the microphone was a courtesy.

Not realizing that was exactly what they were going to be bringing back for her. They had been to five jewelry stores and still haven’t found a ring that would be perfect for Abigail. They all seemed to be exactly alike and Nicholas wanted something that was one of a kind. It wasn’t until they got to the sixth store that they found one. It was an emerald cut diamond set on a white gold band. On each side of the diamond was rows of blood red rubies. It also had a matching wedding band that came with it, a white gold band and rubies going halfway around.

Coasting through the safety checklist, I slip inside and close the door with a reassuring clang. The aroma of lavish leather mingled with the tiniest hint of whiskey assaults my nostrils in the coolest way possible. "Done with your therapy?" Saint's voice is buttery smooth, like silk, as he grinds through the pleasurable agony with the girl he's fucking via the phone. "Yep." "How was it?"

Derick walked up to me, his smile easy and warm, brown eyes bright in a way that made my chest tighten. “You’ve been busy?” he asked softly. “Huh—” I cleared my throat. “I’m… looking for Silver.” I avoided his eyes. “Oh.” He smiled wider. “He’s in the servants’ quarters. Did you know his mate is Sloth?” “Sloth?” I repeated. “Yeah. They had a heated argument earlier.” He rubbed the back of his neck. “Silver didn’t know they were mates. When he found out… well, it wasn’t pretty. And Sloth’s real name is Caleb.”

I asked, corking an eyebrow in irritation. “Ah, congratulations on that, Mark. I must commend you on that fast and swift move. The stakeholders have been watching you like a hawk for these past few years, waiting to find a fault or loophole to take this all away from you. They thought they could use the accident, but you survived it. Then when I saw that they wanted to take the company away from you on the grounds that you weren’t married, I had to fast-track the marriage arrangement with Silver’s daughter,” Mr. Devon revealed.

He says and then turns and leaves the room. “As you all heard this is Savannah, she is only fifteen or sixteen, she is our youngest member so far. I know we are a well-oiled machine and have been working together for a while, but we are adding her to our dynamic to see if we can all work together and we don’t have a tracker or a hacker since Oliver and Brandon left our group because they fucked up. I want you all to treat each other with respect. That’s the only way we are going to make this work. Onto the next thing, we are going to dominate this year’s games. I need you all up at 4 am to hit the gym before we eat breakfast in the mornings. The only way we are beating the other teams is if

, Rose slightly pinched my cheeks. "Thank you", I said. We continued to chat. After a while, April and Rain joined us. "Wow, girls", Aston said coming towards us. Aston Silver, alpha of the Silver pack. The silver pack was a sister pack of Grey Lake. During my grandfather's time, our pack grew rapidly and the human town near our pack grew into our borders. My grandfather's brother Josh Silver took care of the pack which was another side of town. Eventually, people from that side accepted Josh as their Alpha and his descendants continued his position. We're still sharing revenue, strength, school, health services, and many more.

“I’m sure. Go home. Say hi to Jodie for me.” Paul smiled and gave her a lazy salute. “Sure thing. See you in the morning, boss.” “Night.” As the door clicked shut behind him, Elsie returned her focus to the screen, typing into the search bar: Devil’s mirror. Dozens of irrelevant results flooded the screen—Devil’s Advocate, Devil’s Game, Devil’s Playhouse. She muttered, “No, no… not Devil’s Advocate. I’m surprised p**n didn’t pop up.” Her eyes lit up. “Ah—finally.”
