Most had the same dark hair as their father, but two had the dark auburn of their mother’s. “This is my mother, Shea.” Eva pointed at her mother, continuing the presentations. Nadine, Jasmine, Lisa, Gwen, and Amy.” “Hi!” I said. “Hi!” said Jasmine stretching the ‘i’ a little too long, which got most of the girls giggling. Eva clucked her tongue in scorn at them. It was cute. Shea gave the girls a look, and they barely looked abashed. Sebastian didn’t even react.

She was to be Luna and that dream was snatched away from her, not once but twice. Her lips curled into a sad smile, her eyes became much colder and filled with hatred. She turned her gaze to the window, staring at the full moon. She let out a dry chuckle and mumbled silently; "It seems like Vivian will have to leave too," ~~~~~~~ "Vivian and Ama are sisters," Zara smiled, reminiscing about the past, her past. "Sisters?" Ophelia muttered, her eyes widened in shock. She was lost, so many questions that she needed answers to. A revelation that she finds extremely difficult to believe.

She scrambled over to the medical staff, and only after confirming her safety did she start her performance. "Doctor, please check on my sister! I think she’s been traumatized!" As she spoke, she casually tugged at her neck, revealing the marks left from a tight grip. The medical staff couldn’t help but think to themselves, how could two sisters be so different? One was cunning and ruthless, while the other was kind and innocent. "We will conduct a thorough examination for Vivian," one of the staff members said as they approached. I quickly refused the examination, "I’m fine. I just get itchy when I see disgusting people."

The first, a tall woman with a commanding yet friendly presence, spoke up with a smile. "I’m Sarah, your first co-sister, it's wonderful to finally meet you my dear sister." Delilah, a stylish woman with a gentle demeanor, hugged Arabella, "And I’m the second co-sister, welcome to the family, Arabella! Your name sounds so beautiful just like you!"

"Thank heavens Carol never got together with him. She would've been totally blindsided..." I glanced at the photos and nearly laughed out loud. Messy private life? Playing around behind closed doors? The women in these pictures were obviously my seven sisters. My fifth sister was a professional racer. My third sister had just won Best Actress, and my second sister was a genius scientist. The funniest part was that every photo showed my face clearly, while the women beside me were either captured from the side or reduced to blurry silhouettes.

My hands trembled as I fought to keep still, to keep the mask on. “My stepsister,” Rhett continued. “Just like you, she was quiet, reserved. Never wanted to be seen, only clinging to her mother or Dani like some little kitten. My brothers didn’t know her. They didn’t pay her much attention. They only cared about themselves back then.” He sighed, his gaze distant. “Though you know, Sable — Bella had a sister too. Jessica. And she was much closer to Brant. Those two were always together. There was no separating them.”

I looked at her as she sat there with a smug smirk on her damn face. I then glanced over to Kaleb who was staring at the one with blue in her silver hair. “Sorry guys let me introduce you to my sisters. This one here with the moldy looking hair is Mykynzye and the one with blue in her hair is Kaelayni.” Chris said.

Hard to miss or forget. "You're just jealous because Daniel was staring at her all night," another woman replied. That sounds like Ficanzi, Nicholas' younger sister. She's close to my age, maybe a little younger, with light brown hair and eyes. I've only spoken to her once, but she seems nice. "I don't care what Daniel does. I already have Theo," Kianna replied. I heard a rustling sound like someone digging through their wallet, then silence, probably putting makeup back on. "They killed her boyfriend for taking her away, did you know? A guy from Moscow."

“Maya on the other side of Hunter.” I moved into position, pasting on a smile that didn’t reach my eyes. “Perfect,” the photographer said. “Now, one more with just the sisters.” Helena’s arm slid around my waist, her nails digging slightly into my side where no one could see. Her smile never faltered. “Smile, Gracie,” she whispered through her teeth. “We’re family, after all.” I smiled, feeling the weight of her warning and the weight of Hunter’s gaze from across the room.
