Sit Down Mafia Novels & Stories

Isabella’s POV It was nice to have dinner with Papa, but of course, as soon as the topic of the DeMarcos came up, there was a huge fight. “I don’t understand in this day and age that you can’t barter for my freedom,” I voiced, crossing my arms. “It’s mafia tradition, Mia Stellina,” Papa replied. “The mafia is very steeped in tradition and values. There is even a mafia council in Italy with strict rules. If you go against the council, you can face severe penalties, including death.”

Jeremy’s POV According to the mafia rule number three, “Once a mafia leader steps down, he can never reclaim the position if he is seventy years or older, even in the event of his successor’s death. In such a case, leadership must pass either to another blood relative or to the council’s appointed second-in-command.”

I made my way to my seat at the end of the table. I took my seat and waited for the others to take it down. No one said a word. You could feel the tension in the room once everyone was seated. Richard and Daniel were standing behind me, guarding me. “What do you have for me?” I asked as I remained expressionless and cold. My men looked at each other as if they were too afraid to say something. They feared me. Everyone feared me. “We have found out that the Mexican mafia is doing well since the last time. Extremely well to threaten our position and take over our territories.” Tom said as he waved his hand around. How was this possible? There has to be something wrong.

His dark eyes penetrate through me to the place my soul should be. “Of course,” I reply, the bitterness clear in my voice. I scan the room, taking in the other members of the seven. I don’t know what possessed Dante to choose such a derelict meeting place. As the longest ruling vampire mafia, it isn’t like we don’t have the money to pay for a more civilised meeting place. “Brothers,” I greet the rest of my family, and take my seat at the table. The cold metal chair presses against my back, reminding me of my place at the bottom of the order of the seven.

I had nothing holding me down and I could have just left but where's the fun in that besides, mum is having a party at home. That woman is lucky she gave birth to me. That small fact has been her saving grace. If she wasn't my mother,I'd have made her choke on her own vomit before carving my initials on her heart. I studied the men in front of me. They were all wearing suits. They all looked so corporate. I could see the tattoo of a rose on different parts of their bodies. I sat up quickly, the action alerting them. I just pieced together who they were. They were from the Italian Mafioso. The most dangerous mafia in the whole world.

After a ten-minute drive, we arrived at the exclusive club where Alex had thrown his bachelor party. Alex and Logan were my partners in the mafia. Together, we ruled the underworld, an unstoppable force that no one dared challenge. Our legitimate businesses served as the perfect front, keeping our darker dealings hidden from the prying eyes of the law and the public.

“Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention?” The man called and Logan gritted his teeth. “What the hell is be up to?” Logan muttered and held Lydia tightly. Everyone turned to the man and he smiled. “As we all know what we are here for, why don't we make it more interesting?” “Its been done all over the place in every mafia party, how about we bid to bed?” He asked and everyone cheered. “Fuck.” Logan groaned and turned to Lydia.

It was of her wearing a blue sunday dress with another woman. “With the nicest secretary I know. Hey, Lisa. It was fun running into you.” She looked great for someone who was hiding her pain. After arriving last week, I wanted to see her right away but all these killing business had to be settled first. There were currently four mafia families in New York—The Gustavos, The Clemenzas, The De Lucas and The Biancis. The Gustavos were the easiest to do business with because all they offered the city’s elites was protection; A private invisible army for the billionaires and their family, so no one would dare touch or cross them. The Clemenzas and De Lucas were all for entertainment. Gambling, who

I didn’t even have time to fully impress upon Emilia what this was going to mean for her. After hanging up with Alex, I sat on the basement stairs and just tried to wrap my head around it all. Twenty-one years old and head of the largest organized crime syndicate in the midwest. I can’t say all of the US because two Italian families and one Chinese family have us a little beat, but there was room to share as long as we didn’t step on each other’s toes. Also, those families were all human so they really didn’t hold a candle to us.

His face expressionless. "Hmm yeah, that. I hear every family has one" still holding my gaze, he pushes up, walking behind the desk that dominates the room lowering himself to the chair, form the desk then spins around. I hear the beep of keypads and a soft click then in a few steps, he is seated in front of me again. Dangling from his fingertips is a worn-out brown book, or at least it used to be brown. "This is a copy of the mafia rules, the original one written by Salvatore himself is in Italy with the other family chronicles" I nod my head even if I had no idea what that means.
