Once I was in, and buckled Lilac made herself comfortable on my shoulder once again, and we took off. She stayed there until she decided she wanted to sleep so she curled up in my lap, and slept the rest of the way.

He just kept his intense gaze at her every move as she fastened her seatbelt and adjusted everything according to her preferences and comfortability. Noticed or not, she was making herself comfortable to leave.

Are they serious right now? I mean, in the grand scheme of things, I guess there’s really nothing wrong with that. Ivy and Maeve could sit on his laps and not just because they’re his children but because they’re much younger. It just feels weird because I’m an adult.
