Peering up at Salem, his ribcage mark was shining brightly, too. Feeling my eyes on him, he lifted his arm to view his mark and said, “It's because we are in a God's forest, and it helps identify our lineage to the others.” Nodding I grew curious about who else would be within the mystical forest and ran ahead a few feet of my brother to find out.

"It happens once like clockwork. Legend says it awards extraordinary capacity to all wolves." As though on sign, I felt a flood of energy flowing through my body.
