Megan was softening me, and I hated it.
To overcome my swirling emotions, I invited over Karen, a new girl I had met a few weeks before I traveled. Maybe she could help me forget.
We started making out in the living room and when I carried Karen in bridal style up the stairs, I almost dropped her when I saw Megan at the top of the gallery. “Y-you are back,” I stuttered.
“Yeah,” Megan answered nonchalantly, walking past us. “Don’t mind me, carry on.”
