I won’t break our mate bond until you transfer the company to me.” “That’s never gonna happen.” Theo intervened. “Fucking keep your mouth shut, you asshole.” Lucian blew off the handle. “She is still my Luna, you understand? And she will until I don’t break the bond.” He turned into his wolf and punched Theo square in his face. Theo’s eyes turned fiery. He, too, took his wolf form. “I gave you enough of a chance,” Theo said, launching at Lucian and throwing him back. Lucian howled and plunged back onto Theo.

I whispered, my voice gradually growing louder, “You have never been late.” Lucius stared at me as I was having a fit of emotions. His hand wreathed on my back while the other one wholly held the back of my head, bringing my face closer to his chest as he lowered his face. Like me, Lucius had only wanted to immerse himself in the warmth that our bodies shared and once again he appreciated the small moments we experienced whenever we were together. But an interruption occured as the snakes began to throw a rage fit on the ocean. Lucius pulled away from me gently. He lowered his lips to kiss my forehead, “wait for me here.”

I snapped, stepping directly in front of him, close enough that he had to crane his neck to maintain eye contact. “My mate, my kind-hearted Luna, forgave you for nearly killing her… for dragging her to the brink of death, and you think your accounts are settled? That a simple apology wipes away your crimes?" They flinched, eyes wide. Terror radiated from them, the scent of fear pungent in the air. "No!" I roared.

His eyes widened before rushing to Taylor, getting on his knees. ‘Xavier. I want the building to be surrounded now!’ I ordered. “Weak Pulse, but he’s okay. They used some sort of shielding. I can’t put my hand on it,” he explained. “Who would do this?” Lucius stepped forward, asking me. “What do you want, Lucius? What the fuck are you doing back here?” I asked him, and he scoffed. “You are never going to let this go, are you? Your luna is fucking missing and you want to talk about what I am doing here?” He snapped back as I let out a low growl. He shakes his head before turning around when I see Katrina walking towards her.

I said, hoping to wake him up. "No matter what you do, there is nothing you can do to wake his consciousness. He is under my control and he will forever be," Nerissa said. Lucia was so mad, she mumbled something while her eyes were closed and the next moment, the ground shook, and a huge white snake was then around her. "White snake, huh? You think that big pet of yours can do something to me?" I wasn't able to watch Lucia's next actions anymore because Orion was busy giving me consecutive attacks and if I would lose my guard, just one lash of his lighting sword and it will surely be the end of me.

’ At that moment, Zayn pinched Lucius’ face and pulled him up from the ground before he shook his head and said, “You still have the audacity to think of having your revenge against me, do you? It seems I’ve been too merciful, so if I don’t deal with you seriously, you won’t be able to truly understand just who you have offended.” When Lucius heard this, his pupils fiercely contracted. As he felt the eerie coldness that Zayn was emanating, his limbs started to freeze up as if he was in a snow mountain while he hurriedly explained, “Sir, I didn’t—” However, Zayn was not going to give him a chance to explain himself at all as he immediately grabbed his left hand. Then, with a resounding crack,

"Harrison, he dialed his beta. Through the corner of his eye, I saw that he was gazing at me. I attempted to decipher the look, but I was unable. "I require you to be in the meeting room immediately," Lucius commanded. Earlier, Harry had put down his drink and had stopped chatting as soon as he saw Lucius enter the pub. He responded, "Excuse me, Luna," and I nodded in response. He got up and turned to face Lucius, avoiding me. He made a bow before Lucius, and the two left the bar. I felt uneasy about something Lucius had in his eyes as he gave me one more glance before departing.

Max’s POV I had one hell of a day. I was sore, but nothing that the sweet Minerva Jones cannot fix. She whipped me up something from her little portable drawer like bag of potions and dropped a few of it’s yellow content in my tea. She reminded me of professor Snape from my favorite sequel, Harry Potter. The only difference was, miss Minerva was a happy soul. Snape was grumpy.

“You two know each other?” I turned toward him with a raised brow. “Apparently.” Lucian chuckled. “We went to the same high school.” Xavier's eyes moved from him to me, and something about his expression made me suspicious. “You went to school with my cousin?” I froze. “Your what?” Lucian's grin became absolutely shameless. “My cousin,” he repeated, pointing casually toward Xavier. “This terrifying man standing beside you happens to be my cousin.” I stared at Xavier, my mouth fall open before I could stop it.

Lucian’s P.O.V. I look around the small expanse of fresh, green grass that laid below the sun’s light, making up the park that was overflowing with families. My legs remain stretched out beneath me, a hand supporting my head as I watch with tired eyes. Following the happy families of attentive parents and cheerful children playing without a single concern for the eye to see, pain blisters through me from the sight of it. I pull my eyes away and focus them instead on my feet. I knock them together to distract myself, trying to make the knocking loud enough to drown out the laughter that echoed through my ears.
