Below, fifty heavily armed Genesis mercenaries hid behind shipping containers, waiting. "Target approaching," the sniper whispered into his comms. "Three black SUVs. High speed. Entering the kill zone now." The Commander of the mercenary unit, a scarred man named Vork, grinned. "Wait until they are in the center. Then turn them into swiss cheese."

Harlow utters as he uses his index finger to point at the top of the building which towers behind us, my office. About twenty top-skilled snipers show themselves for a jiffy. “Bow down to me,” Harlow demands, and Santino groans. “Bow, or lose your men,” Harlow tells him. “You will wipe them out, either way, I’m not going down without a fight,” Santino utters. “The choice was yours, don’t tell me I didn’t warn you,” Harlow utters as he snaps his fingers and all forty of Santino’s men drop dead. “What?” Santino is shaking.

Killing intent flooded the space—dense and suffocating, like a rising tide that surged into a violent tsunami crashing straight toward Evan. Nightingale, dressed in black, melted into the shadows. Only the cold flash of her dagger betrayed her presence. Butcher raised a sniper rifle nearly as tall as a man and unleashed a barrage at Evan. This time, he had even loaded internationally banned dumdum rounds, determined to kill in a single shot. Predator drove forward with a full-force punch—raw, destructive power paired with terrifying speed. “Take them off guard. Snipers, prepare to shoot. Do not aim to kill” The first intruder reached the east, but before he could move any further, a short dart from the sniper's weapon struck his neck. He quietly collapsed and fell to the ground. The second intruder retreated and released his gun safety, ready to shoot, but a shadow came out of the darkness, a member of Alex’s ground team. He quietly gripped the intruder, and he quickly struck a string to his neck, dropping him to the ground. “Two men down,” Marcus announced, fixing his gaze on Alex.

Lilian dashed forward swiftly. Kiran circled from one o'clock to eleven o'clock. The sniper at eleven, quick to react, tried to retreat. The nine o'clock sniper fired at Kiran to cover the eleven o'clock sniper’s escape. Kiran's body vanished suddenly, reappearing in front of the eleven o'clock sniper. Shocked, the sniper hesitated, his eyes wide with fear. Bang! Kiran knocked him out. The nine o'clock sniper tried to shoot, but Kiran’s silver needle hit his forehead, killing him. The sniper, who failed to kill Kiran, was himself killed by Kiran.

Antonio ducked behind a concrete pillar. “SNIPER! LEFT BUILDING!” Marcus yelled. Antonio didn’t hesitate. He lifted his gun and shot out the nearest streetlamp— BANG! The light shattered, exposing the sniper’s position. Marcus didn’t waste a second. One shot. Straight through the head. The sniper’s body slumped against the window frame before toppling over. Antonio exhaled, flicking ash from his cigarette. “Finish the rest.” His men pushed forward, wiping out the last remaining Nuovo Ordine members. It should’ve been over. But then— A wounded Nuovo Ordine soldier, barely able to stand, reached into his jacket. Marcus was the first to notice. His eyes widened in horror.

It was a high-end establishment, exclusive, crawling with security. "Four at the entrance," one of our men noted. "More inside. Snipers on the rooftop." "Snipers?" Nevio scoffed. "Cowards." I reached under my jacket, fingers curling around my gun. "Let’s introduce ourselves, shall we?" Nevio cracked his knuckles. "After you." And just like that, we stepped out of the car, ready to turn their little family dinner into a fucking nightmare. We stepped forward to the entrance, shooting down the guards without hesitance, not hard enough to take their lives though.

We approached from the area with the least traffic and staying as low as we could, we got ready to attack. Todd pulled the pin from one of the grenades and tossed it toward the entrance, Liam followed suit and Devon had his rifle aimed at the sky. As the grenades hit Devon’s shots rang out, felling at least three Nephilim. The flashes of light drew their attention, but we had split up and were already moving, headed in the opposite direction.
