Reaching out to the tumbler which contained Tequila Slammer, Baron chugged down the liquid and slightly scrunched his nose when it burned the back of his throat. Dropping the cue stick on the table, he slid his left hand into the pocket of his knee length pants while his right hand twirled the tumbler. He was shirtless and a part of his tattoos which were colored gleamed under the lights. He downed the liquor again as he stared into oblivion. Different thoughts rummaged through his mind. The past few months in X-habit had been bloody. Some unknown gunmen of an unknown rival gang had attacked them twice and they had lost a few of their men.

Kane's expression softened immediately. "Okay." No questions. No interrogation. Just okay. He stood and held out his hand. Mona took it. They walked outside together.
