Jericho helped Ishi set up his restaurant, and the two have been freeloading ever since.
“Never thought I’d see you again,” Ishi grunted as he sharpened his knives. “What do you want? Octopus? Tuna? Salmon? I’m out of fish roe, and California rolls.”
That wasn’t a problem. Dawn looked at the menu for five seconds before tossing aside. There were no new items on it, even after a few years. Ishi-san truly never changed.
“Give me Jerry’s favourite, my usual and some mixed sushi, including cooked eel. Oh, extra soy sauce to go. Wasabi separately.”
