Putting a Ring on Someone Else

Putting a Ring on Someone Else

"What the hell is wrong with you, Claudia? She just wants a sweater for her dog. Just give it to her! Your mom has plenty of time on her hands anyway. She can easily make a few more sweaters. Why must you be so stingy?" Tristan had put a lot of strength into that slap. As I cupped my cheek, I could hear my ears ringing. I was even bleeding from the corner of my lips. I reached out to pick up the sweater that had dropped onto the floor, but Tristan stepped on my hand and demanded aggressively, "Apologize at once, or I'll break your hand!" Tristan's leather shoes were custom-made with incredibly tough heels. I gasped in pain as he pinned my hand under his foot.

Will Bear the Moon

Will Bear the Moon

“Don’t you think you should be more careful what you say?” Mykhol again looked at the shoes. There was a sudden urge to take them. Maddie shouldn’t have her shoes. He should. And he suddenly did not like that someone else was touching her things. They’re mine. Mykhol stepped up to snatch the shoes. As he did, an older couple was coming down. “You-!” Maddie forced herself not to react less and gain notice. However, Mykhol saw the opportunity and took it without her resistance. “Thank you for bringing her Empress’s shoes.” Mykhol bowed respectfully to the noble couple. They returned the gesture and walked past, none the wiser to what was happening.

Love Lost, Love Found

Love Lost, Love Found

He had had the interest and time to look at the shoes to know what size I wore. God, it was getting harder each day to simply die my crush for this man and take him as a friend. I mean, there was no way it could be easy if he did things like this. I couldn't remember the last time anyone ever bought me a gift. "Are we changing into this one, ma'am?" The lady behind me asked. My eyes went over again at the shoes in my hand. They were a low-heeled silver set with shiny ankle straps, while the shoes I had on at the moment were a flat pair. But, oh well…

She kept on 'ooh'ing and 'ahh'ing at the shoe. I had to admit, they were beautiful, but they were definitely 'Heather' shoes. Loud, sparkly, and impossible to ignore. They weren't something I'd be caught wearing, but that was the beauty of our friendship. We had completely different styles and mannerisms, yet we still managed to navigate the world together.

An Alpha’s Loss, Another’s Gain

Good for them, but bad for her. “Let us say someone is interested in you and that he is willing to pay anything for us to get our hands on you,” one said. He had black hair, wore a striped blue and black shirt over black jeans, with a pair of nice shoes. “I like those shoes,” I said as they caught my attention. “Watch the fight instead of admiring what you could get,” Ora said, forcing the claws to grow out of my hands. “You can get those shoes any time you want.”

The Nerd Can Fight

The Nerd Can Fight

I might have ruined 3 poor kids’ lives and I barely missed a beat in my daily routine. ‘Have I really lost my humanity?’ I thought with utter horror as I realized I was stared at the green blades of grass in front of my shoes, distracted. Suddenly, I heard the bench creak from an additional weight and I immediately tensed up. I glanced at the shoes next to mine and cursed myself for not paying attention to what shoes Cole was wearing. The shoes beside mine were soccer shoes but I couldn’t tell whether or not it was Cole’s or not.

From Trash to Titan

From Trash to Titan

"Do you even know how much those cost?!" "Just put them back before you embarrass yourself in front of everyone!" Maxwell held up one hand firmly to stop their verbal assault. "Why wouldn't I be able to buy them? It's a store. They sell shoes. I have money." The woman stepped closer aggressively, her expression somewhere between amused and genuinely irritated. "Because shoes like that aren't just sitting on a shelf for any random person to grab! They're reserved. Pre-ordered. People have been waiting months for these specific shoes!"

The School's Cool Girl

It tumbled down on the carpet and soaked his shoes. "Ah!" He yelped and started shaking his now wet shoes. I bit my fist to stop myself from laughing at his predicament. Aria called for a staff and they brought him some paper towel. While Gabrielle was busy drying off his shoe, Aria's eyes flew to my shoes. "Are you guys wearing the same shoes?" She beamed. "Of course not!" I answered and tried to hide my shoes from the camera that was zooming in. "He has a fake one while mine is the original." I shamelessly said.

"Maddox said you can have everything you want. I only get to buy what I need and I need those shoes." "Then buy them," I shrugged putting my shoes back on. "No, you don't understand. I can only buy things I need. Those shoes aren't basics. You can buy anything." "Right?" "So, you buy the shoes and we'll borrow them?" Serena stood in front of me with her hands clasped in front her rocking back and forth on her bare feet. Lena raised her eyebrows hopefully. "I don't like those shoes. I like the Dr Martins." "Fine," Serena said throwing her hands in the air. "Ruin my life but I demand you buy at least one pair of pretty shoes for us to borrow."

it's sad to invest into a story that is good and they leave you for 3 weeks or more not finishing the story. I thought that on these stories they have to be updated every day. or at least every other day. come on let's finish the book already

This book is terrific but I think there may be something wrong with the author. I would hope that it would not just be abandoned when then the author has so much talent. Has anyone checked to make sure everything is ok with author instead of posting negative comments!!!

One Night With A Billionaire Alpha

One Night With A Billionaire Alpha

Tabitha dismissed him and fixed her gaze on the unfolding scene, wondering about the person she sensed, the one causing her excitement. His shoes made contact with the red carpet as he entered the hall. The guests identified the shoe brand, prompting murmurs among them. “That pair of shoes costs thousands of dollars.” “My wife promised to get it for me as a birthday gift, but she couldn't because the only one in State Z, bought in San Francisco, had been taken. I knew she wouldn't be able to get her hands on it.” “That pair of shoes. Isn't that the famous brand we fantasized about yesterday?”
