Sandy felt like a small bird caught in a circle of hawks.
"Alright, enough standing around in the open," Nathan said, clapping a hand on Roy’s shoulder. "Sandy, why don't you head inside? The kitchen is fully stocked. Why don't you whip us up some lunch while I help the guys get settled? We’ve got some business to discuss."
"Oh, sure," Sandy said, eager to escape the collective intensity of their stares. "I can do that. Is everyone hungry?"
"Starving," Ryan said, his eyes lingering on her legs.
