“And I told you not to call me Livvy.”
“When did you tell me that?” He mused, sauntering past the two of us.
Eric headed to the pile of scrap wood on the floor and began stacking some of the boards before hefting them into his arms.
“Seven years ago.” Olive deadpanned, then glanced my way. “Sorry, he’s not usually this rude. Eric just has the attention span of a walnut.”
“Oh, shit.” Eric grunted, shifting the pile of wood to one arm as he extended his hand my way. “I’m Eric, by the way. Nice to finally meet you. You must be tough as nails being friends with my sister here.”
