School was already over but they had all agreed to have some drinks. “ I want to talk to you. " He said and took her tiny lips in hers but she pushed him away. “ Talk about what?" She asked and he inhaled. “ I'm your soulmate. " He said and she looked at him confused. “ Soulmate? You're a human. Does something like that even exist?" “ Yes it does. Every five centuries, the most powerful supernaturals are mated so they become even stronger. " He said and she gaped at her.

“You two are something else.” Soulmates. This must be what everyone talks about.

I loved Daemon. The slight look of disappointment crossed over his face. “I know that. I know you came here with the Demon Overlord. But soulmates are different from mates. Mates are two people destined to be life partners, sharing a committed bond. But soulmates are more complex than that. Being your soulmate means I am meant to be there for you; there will always be an urge in me to protect you. I could be anything you need me to be—your partner, your companion, your closest friend—anything."

Two scarred passers-by spoke to each other. “Not really. I was with my woman all night.” another said near him. They both stopped. One looked over to the bartender. “Big-TEE, the usual.” They both walked up to the bartender. Big-TEE, the name of the leading bull sized bartender nodded as he turned to his shelves behind side picking some liquors.

Jessica followed suit. I walked Jasmine back to her house and headed toward the coffee shop on her street. Amidst all the tension, I just wanted to finish my essay on Macbeth. The bell on the door jingled as I walked into the coffee shop, the smell of freshly brewed coffee hitting me instantly. I made my way to the counter, where a barista with deep blue eyes and brown hair greeted me with a genuine smile. “Hi, what can I get you?” he asked. “I'll have two shots of espresso over ice, to go” I replied, my mind already focused on the essay I needed to finish on Macbeth.

I was a little surprised by his words while grabbing my soda cans from the machine. "I hope you find your mate soon," I said because what else could I say other than that? "I wonder if she would be like you," He passed me a charming smile but what he said was absurd. Why would he want a mate like me? "A greater soul is the one who accepts the other soul just as he or she is rather than expecting that person to be like someone else," I said casually and he made a thinking face. "You're right. But I wish you were my mate," he said. My head snapped in his direction in a whiplash.

they replied It was a guy and girl, they looked somewhat alike. “Are you siblings?” Hailey asked “because you people look alike,” “yes we are,” Stephen replied to her “I am Stephen by the way and she is Stephanie, my twin, “ he said “Oh! that explains the resemblance,” Hailey said as she took a small sip of alcohol from her glass “I am Hailey by the way,” she further added as she stretched out her arms a little, gesturing for a handshake.

There's the imprint of trust, thats the one where the wolf recognizes you as a parent which basically every wolf has with their mother but among the few imprint types she saw while researching, there was one that intrigued her the most and that was the one she feared might've happen between her and Roman and half the time it happens with wolves of Roman's kind, it's always an accident. In New Moon pack, Soulmates were by far more intense and complicated than a wolf's typical mate and she sincerely hoped it was not the latter imprint he did on her.

A low, approving growl rippled through the crowd. “This year,” he continued, his hand coming to rest on the small of my back, “we do not just celebrate the turning of the year. We celebrate a new beginning for our pack. We celebrate the Moon Goddess’s gift, the completion of my soul, and the arrival of your heart. My Fated Mate. Your Luna, Angela.” He didn’t shout the last part. He let the silence hold it, let the words sink into the cold, still air. Then, as one, the entire Shadow Moon Pack threw back their heads and howled.
