She glanced back to see Stanley standing in the hallway, his long legs stretching across the space as he watched her with an amused smirk, clearly enjoying her discomfort. Wendy bit her pink lower lip, trying to hold back her embarrassment, then reached for a box of condoms, holding it up to him. "Is this the right size?" Stanley took a closer look—size S. "Not it? What about this one?" Wendy swapped the box for another and, with playful, innocent eyes, looked up at him. The size S had turned into XS. The two couples now watched Stanley with sympathy. Stanley's face darkened to an unreadable black, his features stiffening. Without a word, he strode over and glared at her fiercely.

Stanley was not interested in hearing another word from Wendy. "You have one minute. Get out of my sight." Wendy lowered her head, the hatred in her eyes intensifying. But when she lifted her gaze, there was only a pitiful look on her face. "Is it because of your fiancée, or because of Iris?" she asked. Stanley's anger flared. "Do I have to repeat myself?!" "Fine, I'll leave." Weakly, Wendy climbed to her feet but trembled and stumbled, collapsing onto the couch.

"But I... I'm not sure how to respond." Stan's expression softened, his eyes searching mine for understanding. "I understand, Wendy, I admire you so much Wendy, you're smart, beautiful and warm. I know I should not say this but I love your kind of person and I was hoping if we could become more. " he said softly.

He was calm, as if he hadn't nearly killed me the day before. Wendy sat up and gave me an apologetic look. "I'm sorry, Jess. I had no idea they would go so far. I just said I thought Jackie Chan's movies were cool, and then…" She started tearing up. I gave her no response. Joseph frowned and pulled me aside. "Hey, she already said she's sorry. What more do you want?" Impatience laced his voice. "It was just a prank. Stop looking at us like we owe you something. Fine, I know you sprained something because the drones' batteries died. I'll pay for the meds."
