THE CONTRACT BRIDE’S REVENGE

THE CONTRACT BRIDE’S REVENGE

The moment she had looked at me and then looked away and then reached for the bottle and asked about my wine in a voice that was performing casualness with more effort than the question required. Would you like more wine. I had said yes. Meaning something entirely different. I sat in the study and looked at the desk and thought about the contract in the drawer somewhere. The clean document with its precise clauses and its two year timeline and its instructions about what was and was not permitted between two people sharing a house and a fabricated marriage for professional purposes. I had written that contract. I had constructed it carefully. Every clause considered. Every term designed to m

The Contracted Bride

The Contracted Bride

"I'll make sure that all of your needs are taken care of and I'll respect your privacy." Elma looked at the contract, her mind racing. She knew that this was a huge decision, but she also knew that it was the opportunity of a lifetime. She took a deep breath and signed the papers, sealing the deal for their contract marriage. As Elma signed the papers, Gael smiled and signaled for the waiter. "Champagne for us," he said, as he looked at Elma with a twinkle in his eye. "We should celebrate our new partnership." Elma couldn't help but feel a little nervous as she sipped the bubbly liquid. This was all happening so fast, and she wasn't sure if she was ready for it.

The Surrogate Contract Bride

The Surrogate Contract Bride

He grunted as he took the document to which he signed without fault. “You’re right.” She muttered as he pushed it back over. She took a deep breath as she stared at the empty line clearly calling out to her. This was it. She was about to sell her soul, her body, her dignity, for a sum that could change her life forever. And so she did, signed the papers in the blink of an eye. “Perfect.” The lawyer clapped his hands, “Mr Ashford, Miss Heathrow. By the signage of this document, I can pronounce you a newly wedded couple. I would say kiss the bride if this was under much better—

The Alpha's Contract Bride

The Alpha's Contract Bride

I asked, hoping I heard correctly. “Yes,” he nodded and crossed his legs. “I’ll pay you ten million dollars if you agree to be my contract bride for five years. Five million immediately you sign the contract, and the other half and a house in whichever city you want once it comes to an end.” “So you’re asking me, a woman that you met just last night and who you have talked to for just a few minutes, to enter a contract marriage with you? Why? You’re an Alpha, right? I’m sure you can have any woman of your social class be your fake bride, and they would be delighted. So why me?” I shot my questions at him, sceptical of the entire scenario.

No Apologies, No Regrets

No Apologies, No Regrets

Fedora Smith had seen it all. Desperate men needing a quick fix—fake marriages to secure inheritances, land multimillion-dollar contracts, or pacify overbearing families. It was never personal. Just business. She ran Bridal Fix with the efficiency of a well-oiled machine. No real emotions. No real attachments. Just temporary vows and airtight contracts. Then came Judah. Tall, confident, and unreadable. He wasn’t like the others. He didn’t fumble with nervous excuses or present rehearsed requests. He simply slid a contract across the table and met her gaze with an intensity that unsettled her.

Emily's Dilemma: Seduced by Billionaire Brothers

Emily's Dilemma: Seduced by Billionaire Brothers

“I just need to get this deal done, and we can hold this charade for about six months and you can divorce me if you want to, but I need this and you don’t need to clean toilets anymore, you’ll be Mrs Hatton. You’ll have everything you need, everything you’ve ever wanted. I promise you that” Her mind became a battlefield, where reason clashed with the intoxicating pull of attraction. She pondered on the enigma that stood before her – a man she had only recently met asking to marry her to seal a business deal just when she stood to be evicted from her home. What were the odds? She truly had nothing to lose. In the depths of her consciousness, skepticism whispered in hushed tones, cautioning he

ICICLES OF GOLDEN BLOOD

ICICLES OF GOLDEN BLOOD

She voiced inwardly, “My Devil chosen me from hundreds of sexy barmaids by his side. Why should I worry with an insecure feeling? Let’s consider this as a test for Devil to show his sincerity to me.” Soon some dragon maids brought luxurious fabrics and precious jewels, when Nora asked, they replied, “It’s an offer from our majestic queen for the exclusive brides.” Nora ordered Akshara, “Don’t just stand like a dead log there, come on groom them.” Akshara nodded and went near the blonde bride. The blonde bride refuses to get groomed by Akshara saying, “Aren’t you the harlot from the cave bar? I have heard on my way here.”

The Heiress, Unrequited Love.

The Heiress, Unrequited Love.

Sitting there in the traffic made Alice a bit bored and sleepy, as a bride she was supposed to be either nervous or afraid of leaving her parents, friends and siblings, I mean that's what a normal bride should be all about not feeling bored and sleepy but she couldn't help it knowing she was no normal bride, she is and would remain a CONTRACT BRIDE. Divorcing him: Mr billionaire doesn't want our baby

He asked, looking down at me. I moved my lips weakly, "What is it?" “Honesty,” he said, his words cutting through the tense air. My mind raced. Contract marriage—right, that’s all we had ever had. We weren’t bound by love but by convenience, and to him, I was just a suitable partner, nothing more. I took a slow, steadying breath, unsure of what to say next. Nate, with a rare gesture, lit a cigarette, the crisp sound of the lighter and the sight of the flickering flame momentarily breaking the silence.

I don't know if I can continue reading. Though the premise is good - the author lacks the ability to story cohesive. Many times I find time gaps and sequence issues that I have to go back and recheck to see if I missed anything. I find this story frustrating to read. I've moved on for now.

Hi, my darlings. It was thrilling last year to write from my heart and I’ve learnt the lessons you were trying to teach and as such I’d like to announce the arrival of my new book—lost heiress;Mr right offers me a second chance. It’s a big improvement, you’d know from the instant you start it. Enjoy
