I chuckled, handing her a sparkly sprinkle tub. “We’ll make unicorns, hearts, stars, whatever your magical little mind wants.” Across the island, Chen piped up with a mouth full of dough. “I want to make a dinosaur cookie! ROARRR!” Abby smirked as she looked up from the mixing bowl. “As long as your T-Rex doesn’t eat all the dough first.” He giggled. “Too late!” Dante chimed in from the speaker's corner. “We should name the cookies. The saleswoman pointed to the cookies in transparent plastic with designs of colorful trees, houses, seas, and shells in one pack. “I have free samples, ma’am.” The saleswoman showed me a transparent jar with cookies in it. “I’ll try one.” The saleswoman opened the jar, and I took the sea design, since my favorite color is blue. When I bit into the cookies, they were delicious. The colorful icing gives them sweetness, while the cookies themselves are not too sweet, so the sweetness is balanced. They are not so hard to bite that they hurt my teeth while I bite into them. “Can I have another one? I abruptly leap to my feet. “Is something wrong?” he asks, concerned. Oh fuvk! just stay far away from me. “Nope. I'm great.” “I'll get us drinks.” “No, drinks! She grinned, holding the bag up in front of her brother. “This is how you buy snacks, Kyle.” Kyle spotted the barbecue chips through the sack and shook his head. “You are going to regret eating those for breakfast one of these days.” Gemma popped one into her mouth. “Now is not one of those times.” She took a sip of her coffee and ate another chip. Kyle laughed, making a face. “Now that’s disgusting—even for you.” The rest of the ride, they argued over music and snacks—especially when Gemma discovered Kyle had eaten the last of the powdered dough

Steam curled upward in lazy swirls, carrying the rich scent of cocoa through the room. Then he placed two cookies beside my plate. Only two. I stared at them suspiciously. Out of the entire jar sitting on the counter, he had chosen just two. My lips twitched in disbelief. Sylvester noticed immediately. “Don’t even think about it,” he warned calmly, already knowing exactly what was going through my mind. I tried to look innocent. “I wasn’t thinking about anything.” “You were,” he replied smoothly, lifting his coffee cup. “And no, you’re not getting more sugar this early.”

Sierra stormed in, took one look at the empty box on my table, and screamed. "Oh my God, Alexis! You ate the green cookies?" I blinked up at her, my brain moving ten times slower than usual. "Sierra, what did you do to me?" She sighed dramatically. "Those were weed cookies for my client, Alexis. I explicitly told you not to eat the ones with the green ribbon. You were supposed to eat the purple ribbon ones. Those had chocolate chips!" I groaned, rubbing my face. "In my defense… you should have locked up the dangerous ones."

She felt eyes on her and she peered up to met the eyes of the boy. “What would you like with that?” He asked pointing below the glass shelf that had many displays of cakes and pastries. There were so many watering snacks to pick from that it made Maria indecisive. “I’d recommend the chocolate cookie,” He pointed to the one in front of her. “It’s a personal favorite of mine.” The cookie was in two layers with toppings on top and cream on top. It looked absolutely delicious and her mouth watered. The boy handed her one on a plate and said, “We allow new customers to try our snacks before buying one.”

I gesture for him to come towards my bed I was currently sitting on so I could see what type of sweets he had on the cart for me. “I made some cookies!
