Rejected by My Mate, Fated to the Lycan King

Rejected by My Mate, Fated to the Lycan King

“If Erik is the tether, and Scarlett the vessel, what’s Victoria?” “The variable,” I say. “The one who wasn’t meant to be a key, but became one anyway. She’s the wild card.” Signe nods slowly, before murmuring, “Then who finishes the spell?” I answer without thinking. “Scarlett.” Because she’s the only one who has threads in all three strands. Fire, silence, and soul. And if she breaks, everything will unravel. The hum intensifies suddenly and the loom groans loudly as a new thread shimmers into view. Violet threaded with gold.

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

It was dark and dank in the cave, most of its surfaces were moist and wet. “Hmm?” After moving forward for about five minutes, something caught Zephyr’s attention, it raised his alarm. He quickly summoned Lightfoot and sprinted off without a second thought. A loud hiss rang out behind him, Zephyr turned to look and saw his would-be aggressor. Where Zephyr once stood, a large creature now took his place, it’s false face chittered nonstop. “A Pearl Spider!” Zephyr frowned at the sight before him. Pearl Spiders were dangerous creatures with ghostly white bodies, and lifeless black eyes. It hissed at Zephyr, which revealed prominent fangs as it’s saliva dripped onto the ground.

Enjoying the book tremendously, the characters names and even the tone of the author changed in the last 1/3 of the book was a bit confusing but was able to adjust to the changes the plot is definitely engaging and keeps you pushing to see how it all plays out for Zepher but it seem to abruptly?

Blood and spells

They were too perfect to exist. "Boundary spells will take time to create hence the reason I brought a dark object that will immediately drain him of his power and make him seem more humane." Suzy winked at me. "What is the dark object?" Hilda touched a large palm tree bark and the wind started swirling almost immediately. "You will see," she said and stopped mid-air to inspect our surroundings. She slowed her breathing as she tried to make a magical reading.

The sphinx comes close to Rachael and she is dwarfed by his massive frame. “You aren’t supposed to be here,” the reaper says to the creature. The sphinx roars into the reaper’s face and takes a bow for Rachael to climb its back. The sphinx carries Rachael away on its back. Mary falls to the ground and gasps for breath as she stops chanting her spell. She coughs as she clears her throat. She smiles as she sees Gabriel and Rachael in each other’s arms.

SILVER PACT

SILVER PACT

Merely aware. She knelt beside a fallen pillar once used to mark bloom alignment. Beneath it, buried in moss and root, was a spindle. She hadn’t seen one in years a Pact-era relic for recording intention. When she touched it, her name didn’t appear. Instead, it wrote a single word across its etched glass: “Return.” She didn’t know if it was a command, a warning, or a beckoning. But she stood. And turned north. Toward Lorren.

The Story Tellerdarkness feeling
"The Sonic Disruption Torpedo is a kill-switch, Elara. It’s the only thing that stops the Architects from finishing the Harvest. And now you’re telling me they’re 'running away' from something else? That we should help them hide?" "I’m telling you that if we fire that torpedo, we are screaming into the dark!" Elara countered, her voice vibrating with a frequency she couldn't fully control. The violet sparks in her eyes were dancing erratically. "Jun was clear. The Architects are building the Spires to cloak the planet. If we shatter the Trench, we turn off the lights. Whatever is out there—this Void-Signal—it will find us instantly. We won't be harvested, Mom. We’ll be erased."

SEVER ZERO

SEVER ZERO

TIME: 13:30 HOURS. LOCATION: THE BEHEMOTH - TACTICAL CONSOLE. STATUS: THE APEX SPIRE. Kara tapped a few keys, and a massive, rotating 3D hologram of the Apex Spire materialized over the central table. Up close, the schematic of the Spire was absolutely terrifying. It wasn't just a building; it was a self-contained arcology. It soared one hundred and fifty floors into the sky, a gleaming needle of white composite armor and blue energy shielding.

THE ALPHA'S LAST CHOICE

THE ALPHA'S LAST CHOICE

The Spiral had opened—not to devour, but to judge. The chamber beyond breathed like a living thing. Walls curved with impossible geometry, runes whispering truths in languages never written. The ground shimmered beneath their steps, revealing memories stitched into stone. Battles lost, betrayals endured, promises broken and reforged. This was the Spiral’s core—not a place, but a reckoning. And at its center stood a throne of ash, empty, waiting.
