Spells In Harry Potter Novels & Stories

She looked into her spelling book over and over again to memorize the words and then she lit up candles in a circular motion and placed Raymond's book in the center and started casting the spells. “ Sectumsempra Avada Kedavra Lumos Expelliarmus Wingardium Leviosa ” As soon as she finished casting the spell, her eyes turned white and she began floating on the air in a sitting position as strong wind burst open the window and entered the room and the candlelight started to flicker. She then took a small knife and cut open her palm for blood to seep out and she let it drop on the book and after some time she watched as the blood gathered together and began to write a word.

I flipped through her spellbook in hopes of finding a spell similar to the one used to attack Xavier. I doubted she had that kind of spell present, but I had to try. I browsed through the whole book and found nothing. There were glamor spells and spells that could be used to the detriment of a werewolf. But there was nothing related to the spells used against Antonio’s body to fight Xavier. There were no spells on necromancy, and I doubted the witch, Carmila, was a necromancer. “This is enough. Time to get out of here.” I dropped the spellbook back into the position where I found it and tried my best to cover up every trace of my getting to the book.

The Protection Spell focused on defense, while the Golden Spell and Evil-repelling Spell were used primarily for attack. Since Harvey had broken the rules and used dark arts to boost his power, Woody had no qualms about using his own way to defeat him. Before Harvey could even reach the golden light barrier, he was hit by a powerful force. Bang! With a dull thud, his massive body was hurled into the air.

Approaching her own wand to the bone white one slowly and touching tips, she intones the reversing spell. "Prior Incantato." Moving away her own wand, the bone white wand starts to spill ghostly like forms representing the spells previously casted with it. The wizards around watch it with trepidation in their hearths while the ghostly smoke takes shape. "T-Two torture curses, followed by three k-killing curses." The wizards in the room had somber looks at the revelation, like they were remembering and imagining the horrors that the wand caused. The atmosphere in the room was turning more and more depressive, until it was broken.

‘Charles, you don't understand the consequences of this spell,’ he pleaded desperately. But I continued to shake off his grip, my determination unwavering. I had spent months researching and preparing for this moment, and I couldn't let anyone or anything stand in my way. The power surged through me, and soon I will have the power to change everything. 'Ekleípō.' I mumbled under my breath as I focused all my energy on casting the spell. The air crackled with anticipation, and a blinding light enveloped me, signaling that the spell had taken effect. Little did I know that the consequences of my actions would be far greater than I had ever imagined.

She looks exhausted. Mom is leaning over her shoulder, pointing at a page. “This one is a basic cleansing spell. It clears negative energy and stabilizes your aura. You’ll need it before you attempt anything more advanced.” Raven nods, rubbing her temples. “Okay. And the potion?” “That’s a focus draught,” Mom says. “It sharpens your senses. Helps you channel magic without overwhelming yourself.” Raven sighs. “There’s so much. I don’t know how I’m supposed to learn all this fast enough.”

This time, she kept her focus on me. “Over time, spells break, memories return, and…” She stopped. This was only going to get worse from the hesitation she was showing. I was over it. “And what? Just say it, Eliza.” I didn’t mean to use her full name, but that was the only way to force her to tell me. “Most of the time, when a spell is used against normal wolves, witches, and vampires, you need a reversal spell to remove it, or herbs or whatever else can be used to return whatever was missing to those affected.”

The book looks ancient, in an intriguing way, old leather binds the pages together. “Come look at this.” I call over to Creed. Skimming my fingers along the cover. It’s so beautiful, I start skimming the first few pages seeing simpler spells like, blindness spell, forgetness spell, protection spell, as I keep scanning each page the spells get more and more complicated. “What did you find?” Creed asks when he gets up to me. “My mothers spell book… there are some very complicated spells In this.” I whisper out loud. Creeds pov.

I drew a small blade across my palm, the sting barely registering as I dripped the blood into the bowl rippling the moon's reflection. “Per sanguinem et memoriam, Per lunam quae videt omnia, Revela vestigia quae latent, Oculi arcani, ostendite mihi matrem meam.” I started chanting the spell, the winds picked up, soft at first, then sharp, my heart beat faster hoping it would work. I heard a twig snap and looked up for a second, feeling watched but I didn't have time to dwell on that, I continued to stay focus and chanted it again.
