Kai said, looking up and down along the strands of silk. A body sat between the two trees, completely wrapped up in silk like a human burrito. "Oh." "Help me!" screamed the wrapped man. "Please save me, she is going to eat me!" She wasn't going to eat anyone. Not after Kai was through with her. He ran up the web, using the tendrils to get foot holds. The spider turned its head, trying to snap at Kai with her giant fangs as he kicked her squarely in her giant jaws.

She was nothing but a traitor now. "I'll be outside boss," Spider said. Not waiting for my reply, he made his way out. I picked up the stun baton—thick, black, and buzzing with voltage. And the second I flicked it on. The sound alone made her scream, like her body already knew what was coming. "Kaden, please...don’t, don’t do...," Her words shattered into a scream. I jammed the baton into her bare ribs, the crackle of electricity surging through her bones as her body jerked like a puppet on snapped strings. Her mouth flew open in another scream, eyes wide, tears flying as she thrashed against the ropes.

He quickly walked to my bed and I got off, grateful for his sacrifice. “Your death won’t be in vain.” I put my hands together in the form of a prayer, hoping Taranis makes it out of this grave situation alive. He bravely fought the spider with his life and will not be forgotten for as long as I live. Well, he had just taken his other slipper and smacked the spider with it so it squashed with all of it’s legs flattened out against the floor.

“It is okay to fall. You know why?” He shook his head, his attention fixed on me as I took a small bandage. “Because you have the courage to stand up again.” He nodded and looked at his elbow where I had applied the bandage. He gasped, “Spiderman!” “Yes, Spiderman. Just like him.” His grin was so wide, I could see the freckles splattered over his small nose and cheeks, his chocolate skin glowing. “Thank you, Miss! I will show this Spiderman to all my friends, they will be so jealous.”

I don't want to give him any reason to think I'm incapable of taking care of his daughter. "I'm fine. I thought... I thought I saw a spider." I lie through my teeth. His brows furrow. "You're scared of spiders?" "Ever since that one bit Spiderman in the movie." I mumble. He bursts out laughing. He laughs so hard and almost doubles over from it and while I don't like it that he's laughing at me - I would rather he think of me as childish than crazy. "Sorry, I didn't mean to laugh." He apologizes. "You do know that kind of spider doesn't actually exist right? I mean, spiders don't bite."

Was this creature really invincible? By this point, the spider had gotten fed up with Walter’s attacks! With that, it took aim at Walter’s chest before simultaneously launching its corpse flame, web, and pincers! Naturally, the now flustered Walter immediately tried to dodge the attack. Unfortunately, he ended up getting slammed by one of the beast’s pincers, resulting in the middle-aged man getting flung against a wall! The impact was so great that there was now a crater where Walter had collided!

The iron-armored spider's head swiveled 180 degrees in vain, unable to find Adrian. With steely resolve, Adrian delivered a crushing stomp that shattered the spider's neck, sending sparks flying. Steel fragments severed circuits, extinguishing the red glow in its eyes. Upon destroying the spider's head, it seemed to go berserk. It relentlessly tracked Adrian, no matter where he moved. Evading another strike, Adrian calmly intercepted a cold shadow aiming for his face, gripping it with immense strength until it crumbled under his bare hands, embedding deeply into the steel.

"To hell with you!" This time, the woman atop the spider trembled with fear as if she had run into a powerful enemy. The halberd fell from mid-air, giving the woman no chance to react as it struck her body and split her clean into two as the spider's body was bisected as well. The spider's legs were blasted to bits and scattered on the ground. Tracy walked over with a smile. "You seemed to have learned something new, Mister Penn." "Yep. I think I've found a special energy."
