CASEY The spider-men tried to pounce their hands on my chest. It feels so intense. I can't breathe under this pressure. Their heads were stretched towards me with their tongues sticking out long and with a sharp tip. I could only close my eyes while crossing my hands in front of my face. I'm so scared. I couldn't even scream because I was too upset. And maybe this is the end of my life. "Never touch a girl in our family!" I heard Raff screaming and growling. His voice was so strong and echoed inside my head.

Shadow rolled her eyes. “I’m so disappointed in you, darling,” Spider said, standing on the roof. “You took too long to come here.” Her voice was contoured with disappointment. Though she pouted, her mask covered it up. “I even had to send you a text message.”

"Swain Duncan, you're just a loser who stole someone else's superpower! You really think I would marry you? Stop dreaming! My dad's a member of the base's middle management; my family's rich enough to buy a hundred men like you!" Jessica turned to the crowd and said indignantly while pointing at me, "Everyone, this is Swain Duncan, a big fat liar! He told me he had spatial power and tricked me into dating him, but he doesn't have any superpower at all!"

She knew that if Spider went to America, then mafia families would get alerted, and there were only a few chances that he would come back alive. Chances were low, but she tried it, and her dart hit the board. Spider is killed by the American mafia, but she doesn't know which family has killed him. Her predictions and decisions hardly go wrong; people fear her because she is dangerous even when she doesn't have power, and she proved why they are right. Why would anyone who is in their right mind mess with her?

The man asked, curiosity was visible in his voice making the two women frowned, while Vanessa was just looking at the spider with burning eyes. "Take that away from me! Or better kill that thing, it's so disgusting!" She shouts at them. "Hey, you might hurt her feelings especially now that Aracni is pregnant, she might lose her babies." Hunter said and gave the spider away to the guy beside him. "Pregnant what?! So you are saying that it will release many species like her? No, starting today. I don't want to see any of those creatures in this whole organization. Try me Hunter, or else you wanted to kill me?" Vanessa asked with authority in her voice. Hunter pouted in return.

Meredith said firing a militia of torpedoes at the giant spider. The missile detonates on contact, driving the monster back as the skeletal monolith continued to fight against the arachnid. “Nollax, you’re up,” Olivia said. “I got it.” Scott slashed the air in front of him, creating a portal to jump through. He reappeared above the spider’s head before clawing his way into the creature’s body. “Losing my grip,” Sam said as he falls to his knees and his skeletal construct fades. The spider wobbles around, crashing itself left and right, hilting each side of the barrier.

“The time we’ve wasted and lost.” “But then you showed up here two days ago, at long fucking last,” Spider said. “When you stormed in like some lovesick teenaged Romeo and said that you loved her, I was ready to dance on the goddamn tables, I swear. I pretended to not know you, but I let you stay here and hang out. I pushed her to talk to you, and I promised myself that if you two sorted it out between you, I’d finally tell you about the gun. And now I have.”

I didn’t want to cry again, it would only make me feel worse. “I know you’re upset. But I promise that you will love my home and if you don’t. We will find one that you want.” Spencer said, coming over to me. He rubbed his hands over the tops of my arms, pressing a kiss to my head. “I thought this was your home.” I motioned to his loft with a frown. If this wasn’t his home, then where did he live? “This is my place when I need a break from things. My home is with the thrall, the one that I will be leading, now that I’ve found you.”
