“Come on, I knew the way to get there. I have more experience in pathfinding than you.”
Once I conceded to clinging on his back, he began to jump from tree branch to tree branch.
“So, you’re like Spider-man?”
“Like the hero from your era?”
“Superhero,” I corrected, “but, yeah.”
“I’m the original and much better and more charming,” he boasted.
“Does that mean your webs come out from your hands or your butt?” I asked out of curiosity. “Like all spiders do.”
“From my mouth, when I’m human.”
“Oh.” I paused to realize that his web had stuck on me from that last hunt. “Ew.”
