He approached one carefully. “Hello,” he said gently. “My name is Cherry.” He had changed his name to avoid suspicion. “Could I ask you something?” The spirit nodded. “I am Rael, from the east side of the Spirit World. Go on.” Charon bowed slightly. “Thank you. My question is about the gathering of the Spirit World King and Queen. When and where will it be held?” Rael looked surprised. “I thought everyone knew this.” He paused, glancing around carefully as if searching for danger. Then he frowned. “Are you new here?”

ZEPHYR’S POV “Yes, there are two of our ghosts who are not with us now.” “Do they have names?” I asked him. “N….” He paused, rethinking his reply again. Then he said. “We go by one name, Ghost. Any other name aside this, I am unaware of it. I know it seems undutiful for me to not have this simple information but sometimes our ghosts tend to break out of character and hence get themselves into scenarios that end up leaving them with souvenirs like names, tattoos, tags.”

Now it was overgrown, cracked with vines and flower-scripts that changed with every moonrise. She closed her eyes. And asked a question: “What remains unspoken?” The bloom didn’t respond. Not in words. Not in light. But in breath. A single breeze passed through the spiral. It smelled of ironwood, river ash, and the faintest trace of old memory. Mira. Saris. Kaima. Herself. All of them, lingering. Not as leaders. Not even as myth. But as echoes waiting to be heard again. The spirit valleys had no name in Pact maps.

They would do anything for money, committing terrible acts. Nobody knew their real names, but everyone knew their scary nicknames. Elio's eyebrows knitted together. He knew how tough his enemy was. In a serious voice, he asked, "You must be working for someone. Who's the one in charge?"

How dare they? Calm down, Fia. Don't show weakness unless there's a reason. Recalling my father's teachings, I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. “What’s with the names? You guys named after virtues or something?” I glared at Bravo, who wasn’t named after a virtue. More like his personality. But the others were Honour, Moral, and Kelly. Kelly grunted, but that was the only response I got. “What’s your story?” Bravo asked, his lip curling.

Bolt barked, “My mate! I am Bolt” The wolf walked closer and rested her head against his, “My name is Spirit. Your mate.” They laid their heads in each other’s necks and stood still with their eyes closed for a moment. Bolt just wanted to bite her to mark the mate bond when she jumped away. “Where you going?” He howled. She playfully wiggled her tail and ran off, “You have to catch me first!”

“You made a new Spirit?” He was close, but I doubted he quite understood that Spirits do not ‘make’ children. At least, not normally. Zach, however, was by no means ‘normal’. “Uh, in a way, you’re the one who helped make her…” Zach replied, his face taking on another darker tone as he blushed heavily. “I named her Loona. Uh, she is our daughter. I don’t know how this is possible, since normal Spirits can’t have or make babies, but I have a feeling my Moon-Mother had a hand in this. She mentioned something about a gift to me once a while back, so…” again, Zach trailed his words off.

The handsome man's husky and deep voice was so soothing to anyone's ears that would want them to hear it often. “I will finish early, woman, I mean Soheila. When we meet you have to remember my name and that is...” He crushed the paper before he said, “Theodore.” Meanwhile, in Soheila's dorm, the two spirit beasts ran to the living room as they could feel that the five new were there. As expected, the two spirit beast saw them talking with Sirene on a long sofa while the others are on the other sofa. “Sirene, what are your attributes? Mine is light, ice, wind.” Hector asked Sirene.

I add Denali, Yukon, Mako, Aspen, Aurora, Luna, Indigo, Sasha, Kyra, Kira, and a few others. I type “wolf names” into the search engine and the second site excites me. The names are dire wolves, the mythological-like dogs, adopted by the Stark children on HBO’s Game of Thrones. I’m a huge GOT fan. The names include: Ghost, Lady, Summer, Nymeria, Shaggy Dog, and Grey Wind. I quickly move my curser to number two on my list and insert Nymeria, Ghost, and Lady. This moves all other names farther down the list of possibilities. I circle Nymeria, as Arya Stark is a favorite character of mine.
