she didn't like her sulking all by herself. Ashley smiles, "Ed Sheeran said in his song that a heart that is broken is a heart that's loved, " she said, "why does it always end like this? Why does love have to be so painful and cruel hurting you when you've got no bad intentions, giving you hope and life only to take it back when you least expect it? Why does life even exist if it does no good? She asked in between her sobbing, she could feel it, her heart is shattered into tiny pieces and she can't do everything.

I let my fear speak louder than my heart, and he heard it loud and clear. I turn to leave, because there’s nothing left to say. No apology will fix what I broke. No deal will buy back time. But as I walk away, each step feels heavier than the last. The weight of everything I left unsaid is crushing. Outside, the city air is cool, the streetlights casting long shadows that stretch like ghosts. I inhale sharply, trying to steady the shudder in my chest. But it’s no use. My heart is in pieces all over again.

Adrian heard his own voice coming from the phone, saying, "I'm marking Sophia purely out of responsibility. Even if I mark her, I'll still put you first." His face instantly turned frantic as he stammered, "No! That's not what I meant. "Flora was crying and asking if I'd ever speak to her again after marking you. In my heart, Flora's just like a young, naive girl-next-door. I only said those things to comfort her."

--- I remembered when I sing that song, I was totally broken. I felt so...numb, empty, shallow. And I wish my heart would be unbroken by now. Cause I am still BROKEN inside. Not in a romantic relationship, but I'm broken. Broken because of what people are doing with me. I said in that song, that they would never let me down cause I'm titanium. And I did that. Everyone who tried to messed up with me didn't succeed.

The words came out in a whisper, barely audible beneath the sound of rain — but in the hollow of her broken heart, they echoed endlessly, like a prayer that would never be answered.
