Pure, pie-scented peace. The TV episode ramped up, Spongebob and Patrick embarking on a jellyfishing escapade that devolved into slapstick mayhem nets tangling, stingers flying, the duo covered in imaginary jelly. Lukas snorted, then full-on laughed, the sound rumbling deep from his chest. Beside him, Annabel erupted in identical peals of giggles, her tiny body shaking with mirth. They both froze mid-laugh, realizing their perfect sync, and chorused the same iconic line: "I'm ready! I'm ready!" Eyes narrowing into a mock battle glare, they pivoted away—Annabel to the coffee table strewn with crayons, Lukas to the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the glittering city skyline. "Uncle, stop

" We were watching Independence Day, but not for any particular reason except she'd wanted to watch it. I thought it had all quality of a cartoon myself, like Spongebob Squarepants with Will Smith in the starring role. I guess Shelly thought so too, because she couldn't stop giggling. "Welcome to Earth!" she said, rolling onto my lap, all pink faced from laughing too hard. Now Spongebob was dragging an alien wrapped in his parachute across the desert. It had been kind of funny when he'd punched the thing in the nose, but I'd known it was coming so I only smiled. We watched a little more. The wine had gotten me hot for sex, but obviously Shelly wasn't in the mood for fooling around. I kind of

"I love you Hazel, I love you very much. Never forget that" And I know she means every word she just said. She's God sent in my life "I love you more you little munchkin" "Are you ready kids!" She suddenly sings and I know where she's coming from so I respond "Aye Aye Captain!" "Ooohh...who lives in a pineapple under the sea!" " Sponge Bob Square Pants!" We both continue to sing and laugh. Our friendship starts at forever and ends at never. I love you bestie. ************************************

SpongeBob it is then. For a couple of hours, Austin and I had not once shifted from the couch except to pee. It was already five minutes past the hour three and mom and dad haven't come back yet. Neither has Kade. "We need popcorn," Austin grumbles, his head hanging from the couch and his feet up on the back of the chair. "You go do it," I murmured, my gaze not wanting to move off Megamind. That was probably the third animated movie we watched for today.

I remembered when we were eighteen, when he planted an entire estate full of Phalaenopsis orchids to confess his love to me. For a moment, it felt as if I had forgotten everything that came before. I hurried toward him. Then I saw Zoe standing in the middle of the sea of flowers, holding the bouquet and spinning in place. "Phalaenopsis orchids are too old-fashioned. Irises look much better. If I could walk down the aisle holding irises and marry you, I would have no regrets in this life." Adrian stared at her for a long time, then smiled gently. "Alright. We'll do what you want."

After saying that, he gave me a quick kiss before hugging my back. And I... just stared at the big screen watching what he was proud of me while thrilled like a salted worm while reading what was written on it. Eli Dela Pena - Psong Kakau Ang Hanap (Mending Alicia OST) THE END.

Ever. She danced while she was singing some kind of song I couldn't quite make out because she was singing like a f*cking baby, slurring her words out. I don't know for sure, but I think it's the spongebob theme song. The show I used to watch all the time when was seven. I took the opportunity to pull out my phone and record this. She won't remember this tomorrow and she'll be furious when she looks at this.

Bruna gasps as her mouth draws an 'o'. Troy looks at his watch. "It's 7:10 pm." "Noooo!" Bruna cries out. "I'm 10 minutes late for SpongeBob!" Really? A cartoon? She kicks my legs from her lap and sinks on the couch to watch SpongeBob. She's acting as if this is her house. It's not. "Oh," Bruna sits up on the couch looking at Troy and me. "I almost forgot!" She taps her forehead. "Guess what?"

Get a grip. I was too afraid to look at the crowd after that, but I forced a shaky smile and vanished out of the stage. The closing ceremony, then it will all be over soon. I just need it all to end because I was seeing things I was not supposed to at this point. So the closing song was "This is Me." by The Greatest Showmen. Mrs Judith seems obsessed with that movie honestly. At least for this one there were no backflip and gymnastics so I wasn't about to puke infront of a crowd of thousands of parents.
