Keira was clutching the throw pillow tightly as he pressed herself on Kiro's side, who sneakily slid in his arm on the backrest where Keira was sitting. I grinned as I removed my gaze from them. They're so cute! The movie starts smoothly. There's no jumpscare yet, nor any other scary scenes. Although it was spooky and nerve-wracking, it managed to give me goosebumps. I forgot how I also didn't like horror movies because I get scared easily at jumpscares and creepy background music. I was so preoccupied with my idea about letting Kiro and Keira get closer through this. "Are you scared?" Mirco asked in a whisper beside me.

He paid for the meal, and we drove to a movie theatre. "The movie was terrifying; it was a horror film, and I dreaded watching it." I was always hiding under Pablo Escobar's chest, and I'm sure he liked it that way. I couldn't wait for the movie to end because my heart kept racing every time the vampire sucked blood, I was so terrified. "Babe, it's over," I heard, and I raised my head to see the vampire jump over a little girl and pull her heart out, and I screamed in terror, tears streaming down my cheeks.

Samara’s POV I watch in horror as countless young women are paraded across the stage, their whimpers of fear only enticing the crowd more as they bid on who will get to take them home. The announcer introduced each woman that walked across the stage by their label, some of them sending my mind spiraling as I tried to come to grasp with the fact that I have walked into some kind of a horror film.

She weakly mumbled. "Any justified reason?" "I'll tell you later, right now isn't a good time." Elisa leaned back as she placed her bare legs on the crystal table infront of us. I nodded and averted my eyes back on the huge screen. The movie was quite shit to be very honest, didn't had any jump scares nor even a realistic ghost. From my peripheral vision I saw Stella hide her face in the crook of his neck when a bloody man suddenly screamed out of nowhere.

It should have felt sweet, like a real date—two people leaning into each other while sharing a scary movie. But why had I chosen this horror movie? I couldn’t even feel romantic with blood and screams filling the room. Still, even with Travis’s arm around me, my fear didn’t fade. Every suspenseful scene made me gasp involuntarily. I cursed quietly under my breath. I winced. I closed my eyes for a second, willing myself to be brave. I even thought about covering my face with my hands so I wouldn’t have to watch the gore unfold—but if I did that, Travis would know just how scared I was. I didn’t want to embarrass myself in front of him.

“The mean fiend of the silver screen! Your old buddy Borr-hisss!” There was nervous chatter in the audience. The tension that had been building since it had climbed out of the blood was churning through the lot. It was growing. Flowing through everyone in the audience the entire time this thing had been on stage, and somehow he was feeding on it. With each shriek, each breathless gasp and nervous laugh, the shadow of this creature loomed longer. “Well,” it said, smacking its lips. “You came for a spook show, didn’t you? Came to see some horrors?”

only the fan working creating a cinematic ambiance. We had just started the movie and the jumpscare had made me throw a lot of popcorn and spill my drink. Trevor can't help but laugh. “Why get scared if you picked the movie yourself?” I scoffed. “You think I'm scared. I'm not. We focused back on the movie. It's not even up to a minute, the demonic Spirit had appeared unexpectedly in front of the main character and I screamed, my heart raced and I involuntarily threw myself on Trevor’s body straddling him with both legs wrapped around his torso and his back hit the bed.

Pride made me agree with a stubborn huff. Night fell as the storm rolled in. Rain lashed the windows. We dimmed the lights and started the film. The opening scenes built unease with creaking floors and distant whispers. I lasted twenty minutes before the first real scare, a shadow lunged across the screen. I yelped and jerked violently. Raphael chuckled darkly. It got worse fast. A door slammed on screen. I screamed and nearly spilled my drink. Ghostly figures appeared. I buried my face in the pillow, body trembling. Then came the big chase scene. I launched myself fully into Raphael’s lap with a raw cry. My ass landed directly on his groin. I squirmed desperately. My hips rocked and ground

And just like that, the fear that she is feeling earlier is replaced by her desire to get a little bit closer to him. In fact, she is no longer afraid as the movie continues to play. In one particularly scary scene, she decides to sneak a peek at Miles’ face. She’d like to see if he has fallen asleep. It will give her a chance to gaze at his face. His hair probably looks disheveled more than usual, and probably… she will think that it suits him. But to her surprise, he is also looking at her.
