I want your pulses under seventy before we talk again.” They got up quietly, moving in unison like always, and padded off without a word.

She took a deep breath, feeling the energy flow within her once more, and slowly regained her composure. Which was why I asked you to meditate.” She replied, “Your mind needs to be at complete rest before we can move on. You have seen the energy you can produce, but now, the most important thing of all. Balance.”

He was good with both offense and defense, yet he tends not to react first. Until he does, I could use the time to do a little modified meditation. With my eyes still focused on him, I took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly. I repeated the action a few times and with each exhale, I released the negativity from my mind. Only wanting to focus on the fight, I cleared my mind of everything else. I also made sure that I mentally blocked anyone from being able to communicate with me through a mental link. The last thing I needed was for someone to distract me.

He said. “What?” “Yes. You have to learn how to control the rage and all other emotions within you. In the Celestial State, these emotions rule you instead and this is why you can’t focus properly and align your intentions with the will of the moon goddess in order to gain the full potential of your powers.” He said and I threw my hands up in the height of my frustration. “Really?!” I voiced in my disbelief. “So all I need is fucking meditation.” I said in my confusion. “I’m supposed to be freaking training— fighting, getting better at combat!”
