It was as if he was watching a circus. On top of that, he was extremely close to capturing Darryl, so he could not afford for things to go wrong. Blaise and Ganon glared at Lunaris General, their eyes filled with fiery rage. Lunaris General chuckled as he responded calmly, "Interesting. The fiend race is here, so why aren't I allowed to be here? Don't forget how you've lost repeatedly in our previous battles. What rights do you have to order us around?"

"If Leo's instincts are right... he isn't on the battlefield. He's somewhere inside Blackthorn right now." Back at the chaotic battlefield, the second Eclipse General landed with a deafening crash that shattered the bedrock beneath its paws. Its massive claws tore deep grooves through solid stone as its burning eyes settled on the king. "I am Vargros. General of Destruction." The third General landed immediately beside him, its body visibly leaner, faster, and built for lethal agility. Its feathered wings shimmered in the dim light like razor-sharp blades. "I am Zephion. General of Shadows."

Its voice was rough and monstrous. Yet unmistakably intelligent. "The Heir of the Moon..." Every warrior froze. The General smiled. A terrible, twisted smile. "Our Master has waited a very long time for you." A wave of black energy exploded from its body. The force knocked dozens of warriors off their feet. Even Lucien slid backward across the stone. Kael dug his claws into the ground to keep from being thrown away. Only Elara remained unmoving. Moonlight shielded her. The General laughed. "So young."

It was brief, but Rey caught it, almost like the girl was reliving a nightmare. "There's only a handful of them in this part of the castle that you don't have to worry about, but there's one you need to avoid at all costs." Her voice is hard and serious, so unlike what Rey was used to. "It's the General," she said. "He's bad news." She shook her head slowly, but the haunting look in her eyes didn't allow Rey to probe further; instead, she nodded slowly, watching as Indie's shoulders sagged in relief.
