It looked like he forgot the event that happened just a few days ago. But he recovered after that. “I know that they weren’t exactly nice to us, but there are still good humans.” Phoenix still tried to convince me. I shook my head with a faint humorless smile. “There’s no need to convince me of anything. I already know how humans only steal, kill and destroy. They only act good when they don’t know what you are.” I said.

I sat on the ground while Phoenix paced around, I was in shock of everything that just happened. My parents...they’re dead.
