Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

*** As I wrote the words on my skin, my blood didn't come out red. It came out **Gold**. And as the first drop hit the dirt, the ruined earth began to grow **Steel**.

The Alpha Rejected His Bride For Me

The Alpha Rejected His Bride For Me

She bypassed the candy shop without slowing down. I stayed where I was for a long time. The wind picked up, sending a swirl of dead leaves across the gravel. One of them caught on the edge of my opened pouch. I looked at the gold inside, then at the smudge in the dirt where the boy had been standing. I didn't close the bag. I just held it, my arm suspended in the empty space, my fingers still curled as if they were waiting for someone to take what I was offering.

Bound To His Obsession

Bound To His Obsession

Gold is beautiful. It shines like the sun, it never tarnishes, and the whole world chases it. But standing here, buried under layers of silk, lace, and diamonds, I realized one cruel truth. Gold makes the strongest chains. And right now, I was walking willingly into mine.

When His Eyes Opened

When His Eyes Opened

Why did he not apologize in person instead? "Big H, the gold bar it's quite heavy. It should be worth quite a lot! Why don’t you keep it!" Mike placed the gold bar and the box in Hayden's hand. "Elliot gave you a gold bar because he thinks you're golden. You're shiny and glittery. You burn bright." "You're describing a star." "Oh, what he means is that you have a bright future. You'll do great things." "I will surpass him in the future!" Hayden threw the gold bar aside. "I don't need his apology!"

Blood, Gold, and Silver

Blood, Gold, and Silver

“No one is blaming you, we’re just complaining is all. And now that everything went to hell, we won’t even get the second half of our payment. And with how bad the slave trade is here in this country, we can’t even sell that bitch for much.” They all turned back and looked at me for a second, glaring at how hard I was struggling to keep up, before turning forward again. I sighed in relief as I had just wiped a handful of blood against a tree and hoped no one had noticed. The cut I made on my palm was already starting to pool some more, readying for the next target. With how much pain I was in, and how weak and dizzy I felt, having a clear objective was about the only thing keeping me going.

Mated to her Enemy: Refusing his Rejection

Mated to her Enemy: Refusing his Rejection

Not when Rain’s face was still fresh in her mind. Gold wasn’t finished. She turned to the other girls standing behind her, all of them looking on with cruel smiles as they waited for their next dose of entertainment. “Did I just kick a person?” Gold asked, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “Or did I kick a dog? Honestly, it’s hard to tell the difference.” The others burst into laughter, their cruel voices echoing through the room. “Gold’s right. She’s nothing but a dog. A worthless thing to kick around,” one of the girls chimed in.

Take Me Back: The Alpha's Regret

Take Me Back: The Alpha's Regret

I squatted, picked it up, and quickly checked if the item was genuine. "These golds are freakin' real!" I exclaimed in glee. "Of course, it is, you idiot." Matis Monet grinned before bursting into an evil laugh. I was too stunned at the heat of the moment; my eyes were glued to the gold. I could taste the victory on the back of my tongue; could smell the frill of a good life. I knew there was more to life than being a loser. After tonight, I would splurge into the goodness of the world and be whatever I wanted to be.

Pretty good book with MANY ups and downs and new plot twists. Some loose ends never tied up, and a ton of incorrect pronoun usage in sentences or using the wrong character name that can make it hard to follow. Definitely want to see an epilogue to maybe close the loop on some side stories.

I loved the ending, but it was a bit rushed. I was hoping for some extra chapters, a bonus, or an epilogue. Is there going to be a book 2? I don't want to give anything away. But the ending seems incomplete. We need more, please!!!

ALPHA’S DIRTY TEMPTRESS

ALPHA’S DIRTY TEMPTRESS

Holding myself back from licking my lips, instead I muster a small smile of innocence with enough flirtatious energy while holding his gaze on me. “2000 gold bars.” Fatso calls out again Crap! Someone else is going to buy me at this point, then I’d have to take him out just to get back in track of the plan one way or another. An unnecessary action I wouldn’t want to take. “2000 gold bars… going once…” I stare at him again, intensely holding his gaze. That stoic expression never fades out, however. His eyes remain cold and unmoving. “2000 GOLD BARS going twice.”

An Outsider in My Own Family

An Outsider in My Own Family

Seeing things were about to fall apart, Jordan quickly stepped in. "Your mother is sorry for what she did. Didn't you buy a necklace for Heidi, honey? You should go ahead and put it on her." "Right!" Fiona dug out a box from her handbag. "I remember you had one just like this when you were younger, but it got lost along with you. I'm getting you another one now. I hope you can understand how much I care for you." The necklace was dull and poorly made—nothing like the one Grandma gave me when I was younger. I didn't know how she could even say they were the same.

The Billionaire's Sweet Contract Wife

The Billionaire's Sweet Contract Wife

“If you forget it, go back and get it! You won’t be allowed in without your card.” I was shoved out like I was nothing, left standing outside the gates with my fists clenched. That bastard. And Sophie? She was inside, living her life, while I was stuck outside wasting another day. I squatted on the side of the road and lit a cigarette, the smoke curling lazily in front of my face. Every day wasted was money gone. A full day’s wages—poof. All for what? To be humiliated by some rent-a-cop?
