Then, from somewhere in the forest, a howl split the air. It wasn't the mad howling of rogues. This was different—powerful, commanding, filled with unmistakable authority. An Alpha's call. The rogues froze, their heads swiveling toward the sound. Aria's heart leaped with desperate hope. Someone was coming. But was it friend or foe? A huge wolf exploded from the tree line—larger than any of the rogues, his coat a deep chocolate brown with auburn highlights. His eyes glowed green with Alpha power. He hit the lead rogue like a freight train, his jaws closing around the other wolf's throat.

The big wolf continued to run for time, darting towards the source of the howl and not wanting to let its prey be ruined by those damn rogues. Alpha Alaric loved this scent and knowing that the source of the scent was already in the clutches of several rogues, his rage escalated rapidly and crazily. He tore into the rogue closest to his reach, throwing it against the rock wall causing it to crumble and the wild wolf howled in pain and died in its wake. Its fangs sunk into the neck of another rogue and killed it instantly. Four rogues who were licking blood from a woman's neck stopped as Alaric approached with his yellow eyes blazing. Narrowing his eyes on me, he looked me over. "Why don't you want to go to the house"? "That's a long story that I don't want to share with a stranger", I answered with a loud sigh clearly showing I'm irritated by the topic. "Now puppy, do you want my friend to come or not", I said, not bothering that I called an Alpha wolf a puppy. With tears which rolled down my eyes, and anger building up in me, I ran towards them ( the rogues) They all raised their head looking at me, I was sure they would kill.me if I didn't turn around I would be dead in few minutes, but I didn't care . As they all stormed towards me , we all heard the deep howling of a wolf . With a single movement, the ancestral wolves were thrown aside and Akiner's neck was squeezed by the shadow. The wolf gasped, trying to break free from the grip, but fortunately, he was unsuccessful. His eyes widened in fear as he heard Kallias' loud, deep, intimidating voice. “You think too highly of yourself, wolf. Do you think that because we have an agreement, you can do whatever you want?” The alpha's cry echoed everywhere. ‘Who do you think you are? Who do you think you are to mess with my family?’ He said, causing the spheres to shatter.

He felt an overwhelming sense of rage and disgust at the dubious nature of this pack. "Well, I changed my mind pup, I won't kill the rest of you, but your Alpha must die. You can as well join him in getting killed if you want". His beta launches for the Alpha but him and Hunter immediately block his imminent attack on their Alpha, they each take hold of the beta's arm and rip them from his body. He growls loudly in pain and slumps. They are immediately surrounded by angry snarling wolves and they each give themselves knowing looks of fighting till the end.
