I state, feeling as though a bucket of cold water has been thrown over me. "I'm guessing your referring to meeting with the Gods who marked you?" he asks, and I nod my head. "Yes, it's very real. Greek gods and angels are both real. Us angels, are descendants from the Greek Gods themselves. Here to aid them when they please." he begins to explain.

I sit up and push the ball to the side. "Hey, look who's going out!" Ted suddenly exclaims and walks to the window. The other guys are busy with the game and clearly don't give a fuck. I walk to the window and see Angel walking out of the house with a bag hanging on her shoulder. I can't believe that I thought her name was Madonna. I blame that little asshole tied to the chair. "Damn! She looks hot" Ted says after a whistle. I glare at him and turn my attention back to the walking figure.

I looked at her, then at Nora, who stood near the fireplace, her expression a mixture of pride and worry. She stepped closer, taking my hand. “We’ll figure it out,” she said softly. Before I could respond, a phone buzzed on the table. Angelina picked it up, her face draining of color as she read the message. “What now?” I asked, my voice weary. What could possibly go wrong again? But it seemed everything could go wrong. She placed the phone down with trembling hands. “Our stock has fallen by 30%.”

"Okay, if you insist." Throughout the shopping session, Angel was very anxious to see the items her mother and aunts had put in the trolley. Xander kept nodding every time they asked for permission to buy things they liked. Angel became very quiet and pale next to Xander. She was busy calculating in her head the total of her mother and aunt's bills. All the money in her account will be drained for all the shopping items. “The groceries here are very good and fresh. Thank you for taking us here, Xander.”

He says to my now red with rage brother who launches himself over the huge table, landing on Mammon he starts to punch him, but the laughing never stops as they continue to fight. A pop and blue light comes from behind me and without looking I know Topaz has just stepped through a portal. I turned to look at her, I can’t deny she is a beauty. Standing with her hands on her hips, a small frown on her face as she watches the two huge Angels fight across the stone floor.

Emily's expression shifted to one of shock. "Did you know about this locket?" I asked. The woman nodded slightly. "I've seen these lockets on the members of the Dark Angels," she explained. "Can you tell me what they are?" I impatiently responded to her statements. "They are a group of individuals known as the Dark Angels. They were banished from Paradise," I joked, although it felt like a far-fetched notion. When her icy gaze met mine, I quickly stifled my laughter. "You think I'm joking?" she snarled.

I suddenly felt a gentle squeeze in my hand as Keir whispered in his magnetic voice, “I am sorry. I didn’t know about your mom or I wouldn’t have asked about it.” Smiling at him, I only managed to mumble feebly, “It is alright.” Suddenly, noticing some green sparkling powder, I asked curiously, “What is that? It looks beautiful.” “That is Addicto, a rare and poisonous drug. Don’t even look at that,” Keir warned instantly, pulling me closer. He added irritatedly, “Damn! That stall is overcrowded. I don’t understand why everyone is paying to buy death.” While giggling, I pointed at another stall, “What about visiting that stall? It is called ‘Angel’s den’. Do you wanna meet some angels?”

I ask, my sister smirks at me “Angel is not downstairs, she is working at the hospital this morning so she can be at the party tonight” I look at her “I didn’t ask about Angel” I try to say but she just rolls her eyes at me. Angel is Uncle Atlas and Aunt Kalsea’s daughter, also my best friend and Beta’s twin sister. Even as a kid she was the only one I could be around all day without getting pissed off at. She is beautiful, her red curly hair is down her back.

I wanted to say something, but the moment had passed, and the photo was taken. I forced another smile, pretending to be fine when I was not. As soon as they left, I called my assistant over. "Did you notice anything about them?" I asked him. "No, nothing at all. This is common. You should get used to fans like this," he said casually. "Daddy, look what I have!" Angel wrote on her tablet. One of the storekeepers held the items she had selected. "They're beautiful. I'm sure you'll like them," I said.
