Married My Ex's Uncle In My Second Time
I turned just in time to see a beautiful young woman standing with two older, sharp-eyed figures—her parents, I assumed.
Sophie.
She was stunning in a soft lilac dress, her long blonde hair styled to perfection, her face a picture of innocence. But her large doe eyes, framed with just the right amount of sadness, were carefully calculated as they met Alaric’s.
Alaric’s expression didn’t change. "Sophie," he said coolly.
Her parents, however, were less composed.
"You should be ashamed," Sophie's mother spat, her bejeweled hand clutching her husband’s arm. "After everything, after all the time you spent with our daughter, you just discard her like she was nothing?"
