"This very unfortunate incident doesn't affect classes," Jared told the students who whispered among themselves, the incident of death and missing persons had become quite prevalent in recent days. It made the human students wonder if there was a serial killer among them, and the supernatural, if perhaps a rouge lycan was on the loose.

The cosmic leaders exchanged glances, recognizing that something beyond their celestial understanding was unfolding. In the celestial agora, where citizens gathered for everyday conversations, an air of unease began to permeate the atmosphere. Simple words like "mystery" and "uncertainty" surfaced as individuals questioned the cosmic currents that seemed to be shifting. Whispers echoed through the realm as citizens speculated about the nature of the looming cosmic event.

Ever since it was justified that the world is round, I started listing the groups of people in this universe that I don't really need to deal with during my not-so-intriguing lifetime. First, STRANGERS. I blinked my eyes twice, trying to convince my self that it's not really happening, that I bumped my head on the wall or something, and everything's just a hallucination. Okay, okay. Breathe in. Breathe out. "Miss, ah, can you move a little? My position is quite uncomfortable. You see, I'm pregnant."

The air was thick with tension, a constant reminder that the battle she was waging was far from over. It began with small, unsettling occurrences. Lena noticed unfamiliar cars parked near her home—vehicles with tinted windows that seemed to linger longer than necessary. At first, she dismissed them as coincidences, but as the sightings became more frequent, her paranoia grew. Faces she didn’t recognize appeared in her usual haunts, their eyes lingering on her a moment too long. Her phone began receiving mysterious, hang-up calls at all hours of the day, leaving her feeling increasingly uneasy.

The hallway had gone still, like time had paused, and all eyes were on me and Tara. "It was probably a wiring issue," I said, trying to keep my voice even. Calm. Rational. "Stuff like that happens in old buildings." Tara didn’t buy it for a second. She crossed her arms, eyes flashing. "Stuff like that doesn’t just happen, Miss Perfect," she snapped. "Ever since your little weirdo family showed up, strange things have been happening." My stomach twisted. I could feel the heat rising in my face, my fingers curling into tight fists. But I didn’t let my voice rise. Not yet.

“There were three guys hanging around. I saw them put the camera there. What’s the point of sticking a camera in my room? Unless they’re planning to live-stream my death or something.” “I remember thinking, ‘So that’s what you were trying to tell me—to avoid the camera,’ when I found him covered in blood but still trying to protect me,” I said, reflecting on the chaotic events. “Ever since the boys left, some strange stuff has been happening. It’s like they’re not just accidents, you know? So many things—missed calls from an unknown number, the alarm blaring, my rings mysteriously vanishing, Eros’s phone going missing—and now this? Whoever is messing with us is really pushing their luck. I c

Not again. In the week that followed, messages got to me from the few of the packs that I was yet to ask that they had not heard or seen a stranger but it didn't change the fact that strange things were happening in the rest of the packs and yet no one knew a thing about what was going on. Some said it was a bad omen but I knew it was more than that, it had to be. Something out there was coming for us and it wouldn't stop until it tore us into pieces.

How can this be possible? The students have formed two groups. One is standing staring at the eclipse in awe. The others are running around like crazy people, ranting about how this is a sign of the end of days. I’m not sure which category me and my friends fit into because we know that something is seriously wrong, but we can’t stop staring. Whatever is happening is beyond strange. I Check the internet again, starting with local news. When I find nothing, I look on the red tops, websites for answers.
