Vulvan It was a long ride home, I got of the car and went straight to the kitchen to get a bottle of water, then passed through the hallway that led to my study room and closed the door behind me. I walked back and forth, wondering what was wrong with me. The word "mate" made me uneasy because all I could think about was Zara, the Edwood girl who unfortunately happened to be my mate. Other than knowing her name, I do not even know anything about her, and I am already a complete mess.

Then she uttered what destroyed the few remaining attempts to control my emotions, impulsively muttering, "No, he's my mate." This word was enough to completely destroy me and the appearance of the barbaric part of me. I snarled hard, pushed her body and crouched on top of her, pinned her to the bed, pressed her neck hard, and roared hard, "What are you saying?! Whose mate?! Have you lost your mind?"
