Shawna adored spending time with her, and with a little convincing, we got her to believe they were just having a quiet afternoon together. The decorations were minimal, just a few floral arrangements, white chairs, and a simple arch near the water. I didn’t want anything extravagant. The view itself was stunning enough. The beach stretched endlessly before us, the waves rolling gently onto the shore, the salty breeze carrying a sense of peace.
