I discovered that this place is home to several supernatural creatures besides werewolves, such as lycans, chimeras, vampires, witches, fairies, and many more that I can't recall. Alex also revealed that our grandfather is a descendant of Zeus, which makes him revered as a god, given that Zeus is a Greek god of lightning, sky, and thunder, like a weather god. Grandfather was blessed with the power of thunder because of the blood of Zeus coursing through his veins. He also told me about his werewolf, who is an alpha, but no one knows for sure. That's why he freaked out when I followed him, but that's a story for another day.

That those people in the pedestal of society have superpowers; to cheat, to rob, to instill fear to the already oppressed. They’re animals in human suits. Those crocodiles and cunning monkeys. “The Great War between these two races lasted for centuries. Both sides have shed blood but the knot of hate between them has remained unbreakable.” See. Gramps was good at sewing his stories. I wouldn’t wonder why I had the gift of writing.

This is a symptom of the superpower awakening and evolution phase. A small minority of individuals may also enter a superpower awakening state after being attacked by mutated flora, fauna, or zombies. Residents are advised to quarantine such individuals based on the situation. The duration of the awakening process is currently unknown. Superpower types include the five elemental series (Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth), variant series (Wind, Lightning, Ice), and special types such as Spirit, Healing, Invisibility, Flight, Mind-Reading, Spatial, Dark, Light, etc.

It wasn't just that, the villain was taken down by the protagonists because they are the protagonists who had the protagonist's halo. However, those are just my guesses but it is more likely linked to the plot of the novel titled ‘In the name of Psychopaths’. Aren't those so-called protagonists gonna end up destroying the world because of the constant war? They sure do act high and mighty, thinking they wanted to save the world yet in reality, they wanted to rule the world.

His eyes lit up as I flipped the pages and read softly. Halfway through the story, he touched my hand. “Mommy?” “Yes, sweetheart?” “Do stories always have happy endings?” I paused, lost in thought. I stared at him for a moment, then sighed quietly. “I don’t know if every story does,” I said slowly. “But ours will.” “Why?” he asked, blinking up at me. I smiled and touched the tip of his nose. “Because your mommy is strong, and you, Jace Miles, are a superhero.”

I just stared at him, unable to say anything. He introduced himself to me and after a very lengthy conversation I learnt that he was the leader of the group he called 'the Rebel'; That their planet had been taken over by The Force, a group that overthrew the government, killed almost everyone of them with supernatural abilities that refused to work for them and enslaved other citizens. The Rebel was formed to identify those with powers and bring them such that when their numbers grew big they would rise up against the Force and reclaim their land.
