"We don't have a refrigerator. We can only do this to preserve food." Uri memorized everything Finn taught him; survival knowledge like this is essential. Day after day, Clement did not come, making Uri extremely impatient. But the wooden house was the rendezvous point. He did not dare to go anywhere and could only wait patiently. Fortunately, with Finn by his side, life is less tedious and feels safer. On the eighth night, a flashlight glimmered in the woods, approaching the wooden house. Finn was the first to notice footsteps in the distance, nervously pulling Uri out of the house and jumping onto a hidden tree branch.

They were just so accustomed to sounds and scents beyond levels that he couldn't imagine. He dropped one of the guards that had grown a little bit concerned, he needed for this to be clean. His plan was perfect, he'd thought of every possible problem and had created a contingency for it. He needed for this to work, if it did, they were one step closer to evading extinction. They were alas, the Survivors of the Sun and they would survive death if they had to. He reached the top floor faster than he'd expected. He was moving at a physical defining speed, blitzing through the distance like they were just meaningless to him.

Josh was the only hope, and she knows that he has been trying his hardest to get something. When they finally reached the parking lot, Josh started pacing. "Josh?" Ava said anxiously. Josh comes to a halt and stares at her. "You do know that there are only twenty-one people that survived, right?" Ava nodded. She knew it from the news, but there was never any information of identities. "I got the list of the survivors," Ava's face lit up. "But only the surnames." "Please tell me there are Blackwells," she said, her eyes brimming with tears.

This is just the warm-up. And not all will survive to the end.

And walked out of the chamber into a world where no one had to remember her for her to finally belong. They opened the wing at midnight. Not announced. Not archived. No broadcasts. No names. Just one small signal ripple sent to every registered resonance ID tagged as “survived but unrecorded.” Zeta-9 stood in the center of the chamber as the first visitors stepped in quietly.

Kane whispered. "And we’ll survive.”

“Bianca. Listen to me. You have survived being beaten. You survived five days without water. You survived being left for dead. And your baby survived all of it. You are both strong, and we will get you out of here.” Sge says firmly as she squeezes my hand and tears sting my eyes. “I’m scared.” I admit and she slowly nods her head. “I know.” “I don’t know how to protect something so small.” I say, looking down at my stomach. “You already did.” She says softly. “Say I stay... What’s the plan?” I ask softly and she sits back slightly. “Daniel can get us access to the south trail. It’s rarely patrolled.” “And then?” “You head toward the neutral territories.”

I frowned. The viewers behind the comments sounded no different from sadistic killers. When no one else spoke, the system's voice returned. "Please select the next participant to enter the game before the timer ends. If no one enters, the game will be deemed a failure, and I will punish the remaining players." We exchanged glances and all saw the fear reflected in each other's eyes. The system continued, "Current death count totals 21. The remaining 195 merit points will be evenly distributed among 15 survivors."
